Credit: The Cabal The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger. "Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix." We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research. Do you cry for the krill?
Thanks - it hammers home the point (snip) "The matter will fall ultimately on our own shoulders. Yours and mine."
Lieberman's quote (also snip) "The terrorists have made every citizen a soldier" is totally accurate.
Like somone said on one of those UN threads: "Will it be with a whimper or a bang?"
"SCADA systems are dirt simple to hack"(Myrddin)
Thanks for the confirmation. I believe you when you make a statement. After researching 8/03 power blackout in the NE, I came to the conclusion that SCADA is hackable, depending on what system the SCADA boxes are connected to.
Great graphic.
Great in the classic sense, as in the Mona Lisa is a great painting.
color me shocked.
A very valid thought. It was alluded to over the winter by the unmentionable site IIRC. I believe some recent articles dealt with the same issue (i.e., Palestinians warning Jewish extremists not to destroy it - might be a cover for their own plans). I certainly would not put it past a terror group blowing up their own mosque, the end result would undoubtedly be catastrophic for Israel and the US. I'm not sure if the Qur'an mentions the mosque in this regard specifically, maybe someone else can help.
Then how come he's ALWAYS trying to disarm the citizenry?
We have grass/brush fires in San Jose and Hayward CA as well.
you have mail
Yes.
I have cried for all creation--including specific representative examples thereof--including relatively minute animals on land and in the sea.
Not sure whether that consciously and specifically included krill at the time or not--been a while ago.
I don't think it included mosquitoes at all.
But the web/fabric of creation is beautiful and I have cried over the devastations headed for it in general and somewhat in specific--before the 'final' redemption is manifested.
JP - what a day! Neighbor and I found bear scat in my backyard garden this afternoon. Husband verified it. Looks like more than one bear (one large, one small). I can use that Prozac water about now. I put the weeding off for a day or two for some odd reason.
Fire and possible power emergency not a great combination.
With a BANG! And it will not succeed. USA Forever. Never Forget.
O say can you see, by the dawn's early light, What so proudly we hail'd at the twilight's last gleaming, Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight O'er the ramparts we watch'd were so gallantly streaming? And the rocket's red glare, the bomb bursting in air, Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there, O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
On the shore dimly seen through the mists of the deep Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes, What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep, As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses? Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam, In full glory reflected now shines in the stream, 'Tis the star-spangled banner - O long may it wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
And where is that band who so vauntingly swore, That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion A home and a Country should leave us no more? Their blood has wash'd out their foul footstep's pollution. No refuge could save the hireling and slave From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave, And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
O thus be it ever when freemen shall stand Between their lov'd home and the war's desolation! Blest with vict'ry and peace may the heav'n rescued land Praise the power that hath made and preserv'd us a nation! Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just, And this be our motto - "In God is our trust," And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
It is the best fit I've seen from all pictures submitted. It also qualifies for the "water - water - water" scenario painted earlier.
BINGO!!! I was just discussing this with somebody via a FM a day or so ago. We're of the opinion that just maybe the Dome of the Rock might go this way. Perhaps soon. Anybody care to speculate what the ramifications might be for this scenario?
Bears?
There are bears in my yard every day. Occasionally the Game/Wildlife Dept. brings up a bear cage, catches a bear and hauls it to the higher mountains. The poor bears whine like a puppy when they are trapped in this large cage on wheels.
I do not take out the trash after dark. But, they won't bother you in the daytime if you make noise, like singing or rattling your car keys. Do you have bear bells?
I'll send you a bear joke by FReepmail. Or, I could post it here, but it has nothing to do with terrorist.
That's not an insane thought at all. I can't provide a link at this time though I will search for it. I read recently in an Israeli publication that there is a fear the arabs will blow up the al Aqsa mosque to give them an excuse...
But I can't imagine how any reference to such a thing could be found in Scripture...the al Aqsa mosque wasn't built until around 700AD and the Old, or Original Testament has its roots in the middle of the second millenium BC. It is, above all else, an accurate, historical document of the lives of the Hebrew people.
