Mrs. Reagans statement came on the heels of a report published Friday on the Web site capitolhillblue.com. That story, headlined "Nancy Reagan to Bush: 'We Don't Support Your Re-Election,'" quoted a spokesman for Mrs. Reagan as telling the site, "Mrs. Reagan does not support President Bushs re-election and neither do most members of the Presidents family." CIA agent & media source extraordinaire Terrance J. Wilkinson, perhaps?

I wonder how much play this will get on the alphabet networks (hint: very little.)

I hope this gets wider play. SHhhhh. Be vewy vewy quiet. The mainstream media would not want voters to know about this.

I'm with you. If she is up to it, even just a few words would do a world of good. If she is not up to the trip and the convention, perhaps she could narrate a video tribute to her late husband. I'd like to see that.

Michael Reagan, who knows about stem cells (embryonic and adult) and knows about the research with them probably set Nancy straight on the whole subject. After all, he is a board member of some big research on the disease. Michael was also with Nancy on the U.S.S. Ronald Reagan when it came into port. Ron Jr. was nowhere to be seen. Nancy maybe old and feeble, but she is still sharp as a razor and knows who is who and who is what...

I believed the story - which tells you how you have to take news from the web with a grain or two of salt. This is good news.

Don't you feel that after the tribute paid to Ronald Reagan upon his death, mostly by Republicans, Nancy could at least have the
class to use major media to express her gratitude?
I will admit I have never been a fan of Nancy or her children.
This statement was by an aide to her. It wasn't the aide's husband who received the tribute from a thankful nation.

Were you suckered AGAIN or are you dishonest to the core?
To: kattracks
Thank God that Mrs. Reagan has stated her support for President Bush. God bless her!
I hope someone will ask her son Ron what he thinks about this -- I would like hear how son Ron handles this.

I hope Michael doesn't mention his brother at all at the convention... their public airing of family disagreements on the talk show circuit has started to border on unseemly.
