Caddy Shack!!
Blazing Saddles!!!
1941!!!!!
Casino Royale!!!!!!!!!!
Welcome to the Canteen!
Blazing Saddles is a classic. I don't know how many times my friends and I have had a good laugh about the campfire scene when we're out camping/fishing.
Other favorites cult films:
The Warriors (Good soundtrack and the duckie boys)
The Wanderers
Scanners (Only the 1st one)
Reservoir Dogs (it's worth it just to listen to Steve Buscemi explain why he doesn't tip)
The Big Blue (Jean Reno & Rosanna Arquette)
Blade Runner
Strange Brew (what college kid from the early 80s didn't love this film)
The Professional (Jean Reno & a 10 yr old Natalie Portman)
Big Wednesday (an adult surf movie)
Streets of Fire (Diane Lane and music by Ry Cooder & The Blasters)
My Chauffer (A guilty pleasure-Deborah Foreman of Valley Girl fame was adorable)
and Surf Nazis Must Die.
Also two miniseries I own: Dune (much better than the movie) & Lonesome Dove.
Welcome to the Canteen/asylum!! We may be weird, but we're lovable!!
Peter Sellars and Ursella Andress are the best thing about Casino Royale. I learned from the DVD that Orson Welles is to blame for Mr. Sellars being FIRED from the film. Mr. Welles did not find Peter Sellars funny.
Casino Royale is a hit and miss film (4 directors working without much of a script), when it works it is great and when it doesn't it is okay. Could have been better but I second that recommendation.
You seem to like all-star comedies, check out the Monkees' Head.
