Peter Sellars and Ursella Andress are the best thing about Casino Royale. I learned from the DVD that Orson Welles is to blame for Mr. Sellars being FIRED from the film. Mr. Welles did not find Peter Sellars funny.

Casino Royale is a hit and miss film (4 directors working without much of a script), when it works it is great and when it doesn't it is okay. Could have been better but I second that recommendation.

You seem to like all-star comedies, check out the Monkees' Head.

Legend has it that Orson Welles hated Sellers so much that he could not tolerate being in the same room with Sellers. In scenes when the audience supposes they are playing against each other.....I believe one scene had them playing cards......each actor's scenes were shot separately, then spliced together. Such is the "magic" of Hollywood.
