always enjoyed "Where the Buffalo Roam"...Bill Murray is so under-appreciated. Love "Groundhog Day" as well...
Can't watch Fast times anymore...Sean "Baghdad" Penn ruins it for me...
What about Repo Man?
I haven't had time to read the entire thread, but I think I should mention that cult director Paul Morrissey, who did the classic "Andy Warhol" trilogy of Flesh, Trash and Heat, and the horror spoofs Blood for Dracula and Flesh for Frankenstein, is a die-hard conservative. Trash, especially is a sad and angry comment on the destructive and wasteful nature of the welfare state and the drug culture.
I play rec-league hockey, so one of my favorites is "Slap Shot" with Paul Newman. In fact I might have to watch that tonight when I get home ...
"Dave's a Killer."
"Dave's a mess!"
Mars Attacks is another one I love. "You're an adult. Cope."
All of these movies have me thinking about some Popcorn!
Popcorn is not a recent food but has been around for thousands of years. It is created by heating corn kernels which explode outwards once the water inside expands and builds up enough pressure. The great thing about popcorn is that it is a good source of carbohydrates, fibre and protein. Slimmers might also like to take note that it is very low in calories (27 calories per 100g) if eaten plain..............
The OLD one...it's black&white, but it's so much more frightening than the new one...which is merely gore-loaded.
It even frightens the jaded teens.
I also love Westward the Women with Robert Taylor.
The original "Bedazzled" (R. Welch plays Lust) and "Kind Hearts and Coronets".
2) Heavy Metal "There's no way I'm walking around here with my dork hanging out"
3) The animated LOTR. "SNEAKING||||"
They Live!
and all the Chris Guest mockumentaries (esp. "Waiting for Guttman")
