NEW GALLUP POLL WILL SHOW BUSH UP BY 3. BEFORE THE CONVENTION, KERRY LED BY 4.
I've heard the worst bounce in history was 7 points for a challenger. This is a -7 point 'bounce'.
TOPICS: Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: 2004; bush; dncconvention; gallup; kerry; kerrybounce; poll; polls

The liberals will predict a 20 point bounce, there by nullifying a 8-10 pt. bounce.

If Michael Moore was such an asset at the convention, why wasn't he invited to join the bus tour? When I was younger, I had to ride on a few Greyhounds next to guys that smelled like Moore looks. Would you want to ride on a bus across country with him? I can hear him now, "Hey buddy, you gonna finish those nachos?"

Did you read the thread about Kerry and Edwards ordering their lunch from the Newburgh Yacht Club, before they did that phony photo op at Wendy's? A link to that would be greatly appreciated!

Watching DU implode this election is going to be long and drawn out shadenfreude. Hahahahahaha I can only hope that someone hacks in ala 2002 and posts the "All Your White House Are Belong To Us" graphic.

Excellent - the news just keeps getting better. Friends, if you had a choice between a faux Republican and the real one for whom would vote? The American people aren't fooled and they are figuring out that underneath all the big speeches and pretty pictures presented by John F*ckin', there's no record, there are no real results. No wonder the President's moved into the lead. Even George McGovern didn't fall fast this hard in 1972 and we all know how it finally turned out. This is the price the Democrats pay for selling out their ideals just to win. I hope its haunts them for the rest of the campaign.

I think you're on the money. Ronaldus Magnus, in 1984, his best year got 59%. At a minimum, any Democrat is going to start out with 43% of the vote. That was the margin of Clinton's first win in 1992 and four years later he still received under 50%. This election is not gonna be a landslide for Bush but its going to splinter what's left of the Democratic Party.

Ben Affleck and Jenniper Lopez are best remembered for that turkey of a movie that flopped. I think its fitting John F*ckin' brought his aboard his campaign. Jack Hamm, the Pittsburgh Steelers' great once said, true greatness does not need to be defined or explained. Heck, these guys don't even know the meaning of the term!

In 2002, after their crushing defeat in the election, Tom Daschle and other RAT leaders complained that they didn't get their message out. Now, this campaign, they are doing everything they can to NOT get their message out. The Convention is prime example #1. Did any prime time speaker give the speech that they and RAT delegates wanted to hear? NO! It was all kept on the hush. Their real agenda, ideas, and thoughts were in speechs given at the parties at night and on the convention floor and rooms to select groups. Such as Howard Dean's "Bush is a facist and burning books" pep talk he gave.

But you are the first person I ever met that really DOES have a scar from a lawn dart. Caught me between the tendon and the bone. I was either really lucky the way it hit, or really unlucky to get tagged at all. In hindsight "Lawn-Dart Tag" might not have been such a great game to play. It's all fun and games until somebody loses an eye... etc.
