Read: Revelation 5:6-14
Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth. Psalm 96:9
Bible In One Year: Psalms 57-59; Romans 4
We all love to have someone tell us, "Hey, great job. I appreciate you." And if several people tell us we are doing something right, that's even better.
God loves the praise of His people too, and He truly deserves it. Our most important work on earth is to exalt Him (Psalm 96:9), "that in all things God may be glorified" (1 Peter 4:11). It's our responsibility and privilege to worship, love, exalt, and serve the Lord.
Revelation 5:9-13 tells of a future day in heaven when believers from "every tribe and tongue and people and nation" who have been redeemed by Jesus' blood will surround His throne with praises. All of those individualsmultiplied over the millenniaadd up to a mind-boggling congregation of God-glorifying people.
God's greatness is so overwhelming, so unfathomable, and so indescribable that millions and millions of peopleall praising Him and bowing before Him in worshipwill give Him the glory He deserves.
Even now, each of us can participate in celebrating God's majesty by glorifying Him with our lives. And one day we will join with people from every nation in that massive heavenly celebration. Dave Branon

Good Morning troops!! Good Morning everyone! Here is today's humor attempt!
At one Army base, the annual trip to the rifle range had been canceled for the second year in a row, but the semi-annual physical fitness test was still on as planned.
One soldier mused, "Does it bother anyone else that the Army doesn't seem to care how well we can shoot, but they are extremely interested in how fast we can run?"

A regular customer walks into the bar and says, "Bartender, one round for everyone, on me!"
The bartender says, "Well, seems you're in a really good mood tonight."
The man replies, "I sure am! Yesterday I was hired by the city to go around and collect money from the parking meters!"
The bartender congratulates the man and proceeds to pour the round.
The next night the same man walks back in, "Bartender, TWO rounds for everyone, on me!"
The bartender says, "If you're so happy just over having this new job, I can just imagine how happy you'll be when you getyour first paycheck!"
With a wondrous look on his face, the man pulls out a handful of quarters from his pocket and says, "You mean they're gonna PAY me too?"

Hi everyone!
In Jesus name Amen.
Iraqi police officers walk past destroyed patrol vehicles after a car bomb blast in the northern city of Mosul Aug. 1, 2004. A suicide car bomb exploded outside a police station in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul on Sunday, killing at least five people and wounding more than 50, police and doctors said.

Those Iraqi journalists sometimes look French to me when they are so fleet of foot.

To refresh your memories here's the story again;
Just got back last night at 7:30 p.m. from the first phase of Adult Scout training since Thursday early morning. Scouting is one of my "Agape" families and am I pumped up. I have a session this coming Saturday and the another Thursday through Saturday retreat the week after that.
The site where we had the retreat was a mountain top scout camp and at the Camp open air chapel, a sight really touched me. Let me explain; The Chapel sits on a U shaped outcropping on the mountain with wooded gully 6-10 foot deep on both sides and in front. At the front behind the alter platform are three trees that for appear as the three crosses of Gethsemane. When they had a serious fire on the mountain the three gullies and the trees were all super charred black by the flames but, not the three trees at the alter or anything in the chapel was even touched. It was almost as if the chapel was wrapped in the protecting arms of God held back the flames. We were told by the fire fighters that the gullies were the hottest part of the fire and they could they not explain why the chapel was not touched in any way.
-- and here are the photos to go with that story.
