Ladies!! Our honor has been tarnished! The democrats think we are swayed by a pretty hairdo and a toothy grin!
Four years ago, in answer to the media portraying Dick Cheney as an old geezer, I posted a thread titled "Are You a Cheney Chick?" (Anyone who has that thread bookmarked, please post it here! I was unable to locate it.)
Well, here we are, and the democrats are acting like Pretty Boy Edwards will trump our hero. BAH!
I would like the ladies of Free Republic to speak up for our wonderful Vice President. Please post all thoughts, pictures, and links that prove that those of us who admire Vice President Cheney are in the mainstream of thought.
Gentlemen are also welcome to this thread. I have posted this in response to the idiotic democrats who think that John Edwards is a suitable replacement.
Stand up for Dick Cheney, the greatest Vice President in the history of our nation!!
That's pretty funny. Good story, thanks for posting it. I also would add that while some people call him snarling I LOVE that little curl in his upper lip. He's a hunka-hunka burnin' intelligent manly man! LOL.
Great picture. I am new, but please count me in.
Whoops I spelt lesbian wrong sorry did not mean to offend anyone
Here is a picture from just last week. He did not try it on, he said, because he was mindful of what happened to Kerry when he got photographed in the sperm suit.(paraphrase) This enraged the Kerry camp...hee hee...Just wait till the debates...he is gonna cream Johnny Edwards.
Vice President Dick Cheney (news - web sites) shows off a Utah Jazz jersey presented to him by John Swallow, rear, during a fund-raising luncheon Wednesday, July 28, 2004, in Salt Lake City. The jersey was made by the basketball team at Swallow's request, who paid for it. Swallow is the Republican candidate for Utah's 2nd District congressional race in November.
I won't even ask why you feel the need to be on this thread at all, but contrary to your assumptions, this is not a "fantasy thread"...this is about showing our support for Cheney. If you haven't noticed lately, the "Dump Cheney" drumbeat has been quite loud lately in the liberal media. I was the one that asked Miss Marple if she had the original ping list and suggested that we reorganize to counteract their attempts to undermine the Bush/Cheney ticket. We have better things to do than to listen to you snivel, right ladies? You can go crawl back under your rock now.
****************************************************************
Now ladies, on to the business at hand...let's start by e-mailing Cheney and letting him know we support him...
vice.president@whitehouse.gov
If you'd like to e-mail Mrs. Cheney, her e-mail is...
mrs.cheney@whitehouse.gov
And let's also contact the Bush/Cheney team...
BushCheney04@GeorgeWBush.com
Last but not least...if we see the media hyping the "Dump Cheney" message, we need to ping everyone and bombard the source with e-mails!
Thanks so much to Miss Marple for putting this together!
=== I won't even ask why you feel the need to be on this thread at all,
I know, I know. You'd think I'd have spent enough time wrangling with libertarians over the years to know some folks just don't wish to be saved from themselves.
=== but contrary to your assumptions, this is not a "fantasy thread"...
You checked the post to which I was replying, of course? I acknowledged (with all due hopefulness) the heavy breathing was largely in jest.
=== this is about showing our support for Cheney.
I can "see" that but -- other than posting pics -- have you all got anything specific in the way of Cheney's words or deeds to accompany the Critical Points below you've been repeating since 2000?
Having grown tired of hearing the media mantra of Dick Cheney"s "age", and "boring speaking voice" and "lack of charisma" I have decided that WE AREN'T GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!Dick Cheney IS the definition of sexy! He commands attention from those he addresses, he cares for his family, he gets things done, and he doesn't run around looking for approval! He has a GREAT speaking voice and a twinkle in his eye! Ladies, what more do you want?
Here is my idea: First, we ascertain how many are willing to enlist. Then we let the Bush campaign know we are interested in helping. Who knows? We might wind up in designer outfits on national tv!!
And if not, we have encouraged a very good man, who doesn't deserve the slime some news outlets are sending his way.
=== If you haven't noticed lately, the "Dump Cheney" drumbeat has been quite loud lately in the liberal media.
Actually -- along with the "stem cell" issue -- this is one point on which I can also be of help to you!
Given my hunch that Bush is going to win, I too think it critical Bush retain someone of Cheney's experience and savvy and have it on good authority (from one of Cheney's fellow Halliburton Board Members) that he's a man of real integrity.
(Although it's true the individual in question couldn't quite understand Cheney's gaffe that was trying to lug a multi-million dollar goodie bag with him to the White House. Thought it poor form and even a little unnecessary given the fact that -- according to this guy -- the first thing they told Cheney when he came aboard was, "Dick, we're going to make you a millionaire.")
==== I was the one that asked Miss Marple if she had the original ping list
From the original "DICK CHENEY IS SEXY TOO!" thread, you mean?
=== and suggested that we reorganize to counteract their attempts to undermine the Bush/Cheney ticket.
Psst ... if a Cupie Doll VP and pale imitation Kennedy cousin of the President are the best the Dems can come up with to undermine the ticket ... looks like things definitely are going your way already.
Seriously ... the Dems did no damage to you in the convention and achieved Zero boost for themselves, Moore's campaign commercial is a bust and the emphasis on Kerry's fake war record only served to turn Boston into one huge Pro-War rally (surrounded by a HUGE-ASS show of Security Services Forces from Kevlar stormtrooper police to military tanks) which works only in Bush's favor as far as the War -- at home and abroad -- are concerned!!!
==== We have better things to do than to listen to you snivel, right ladies? You can go crawl back under your rock now.
Will do ... but remember: I'm here if you need me.
In fact, I found two really great shots of "Prime" Cheney the other night which I don't believe have been posted yet. A decidedly sexy one of him cocktailing with his Dad and another with an up-and-comer conservative woman wherein you can see a photo of him with his kids on his credenza. Both great shots and guaranteed to underscore Cheney's family side while showcasing his ability, from waaaay back, to have fun and appeal to the ladies.
You take care, Ravingnutter. Great to see you are still fighting the good fight where symbol over substance is concerned.

Thanks, daisyscarlett! I really appreciate your report.
I am several days late to this thread, but I am definitely a Cheney Chick.
I do love nice, strong, smart , handsome men! We sure have a bunch of those types in the Bush Administration!
I love Cheney - he is so intelligent and has an inner strength. His wife is also an asset. He is very masculine unlike the dimocrap candidates, a couple of girly-men metrosexuals. They can keep their moussed and gelled and sprayed "great" hair.
I have found 2 great pictures of Dick Cheney but I am not sure how to post them the URL are as follows
