Ladies!! Our honor has been tarnished! The democrats think we are swayed by a pretty hairdo and a toothy grin!
Four years ago, in answer to the media portraying Dick Cheney as an old geezer, I posted a thread titled "Are You a Cheney Chick?" (Anyone who has that thread bookmarked, please post it here! I was unable to locate it.)
Well, here we are, and the democrats are acting like Pretty Boy Edwards will trump our hero. BAH!
I would like the ladies of Free Republic to speak up for our wonderful Vice President. Please post all thoughts, pictures, and links that prove that those of us who admire Vice President Cheney are in the mainstream of thought.
Gentlemen are also welcome to this thread. I have posted this in response to the idiotic democrats who think that John Edwards is a suitable replacement.
Stand up for Dick Cheney, the greatest Vice President in the history of our nation!!

..and I truly, surely trust them to be in charge rather than some namby pamby Kerry/Edwards team....who still haven't made up their collective minds on how they think on anything!

During the 2000 campaign, I dragged my two and four year olds to every campaign event within 100 miles of here. The only one at which I was really in prime real estate was at Weeki Wachee Spring and Dick Cheney was the main speaker (with various and assorted local candidates).
While he was on his way out, I GOT TO SHAKE HIS HAND!!!!
I felt like Marcia Brady when Desi Arnaz Jr. kissed her...."I'll never wash [my hand] again!" ;-)

I love the way Cheney's eyes sparkle when he grins that crooked grin. I think he is the best Vice President this country has ever had. But what really gets me is his voice. It is musical. He has a wonderful cantor and tone.

i like the news on one of the new local am radio - here in the d/fw area. 660, "K SKY". they played cheney's remarks re: that he (Cheney) had heard that edwards was selected for his good looks and nice hair....pause.....he then asked; "how do you think I got the job?" the audience howled. he's wicked funny.

Reminds me that I haven't been hearing anyone on the right demanding that the eldest Heinz son get involved in the Kerry campaign (he's the one who is a Buddhist and a blacksmith, who teaches at an alternative school, and who "hates" his mother Terayza -- according to her).
I have heard virtually nothing about Chris Heinz. At one point during the convention, a commentator stated Chris Heinz hates to be photographed and isn't involved with the campaign. In fact, I think they showed a photo of him (with the family) when he looked to be about age eight; I guess that was all they had. I'd never heard any of the items you mention. I'd like to blame the liberals for their exploitation of children like Patti Davis, Ron P. Reagan, etc., but these "children" are adults and willingly enter into the exploitation. Mary Cheney (I think that's her name) shows more dignity than they do, anyway, don't you think? It strikes me as funny that for all the gay lobby screams about how "private" their lives should be, they turn on someone like Mary Cheney because she not only is keeping that aspect of her life private, but doesn't let it dictate the entirety of her existence.
VP Cheny has the respect of those who know him. Edwards can't carry his own state.

When I started this four years ago it was partly in response to the media's poking fun at Cheney because they thought he was old and bald.
I am determined to keep this front and center this year, since the liberals have been trumpeting how Cheney is a liability and other such nonsense. He is a straight-shooter and a fascinating guy, and I think that those who trumpeet the sex appeal of Edwards lack taste and discernment.
So, the Cheney Chicks are going to let themselves be heard!!

In a man to man comparison, Edwards is a whimpering child next to Cheney.
I know that 'beauty' is in the eye of the beholder, but (other than the amount of hair) I think Cheney is more attractive than Edwards.
But then it's hard for me to divorce character from appearance once I get to know someone, and the more I get to know Edwards, the less attractive he is, and with Cheney, the opposite is true.
Did anyone else report that the pic you posted doesn't show up?

I totally agree it just shows the strength of the Cheney family and I think it just goes to show how much a modern man Dick Cheney actually is not only has he a wife that has had and still has an active business and political career in her own right but has a lesbanian daughter who he is quite happy to allow to be actively involved in his re-election campaign. Mary was with them the week the new grandson was born along with the oldest grandaughter Kate I do not know if she has been on the road with them since but I have heard or read somewhere she will be more actively involved as you get nearer to the actual election. I just hope that the Kerry/Edwards don't try to use this to high light a so called division within the republican party.
