Like Woody Allen's " Leonard Zelig", a character who "physically becomes" like those around him ( his lips get thick around Blacks, his eyes go almond shape around Asians) John Kerry also seems to "become physically" like whomever he is with. So far we have four solid Zelig/Kerry sightings: 1) With real Catholics in Iowa Zelig/Kerry temporarily became one, when he proclaimed " I believe life begins at conception." 2)With the NAACP, Zelig/Kerry became John Carlos and gave the Black power fist up salute. 3) With real astronauts, Zelig/Kerry became one and wondered are the Space Center in a space suit looking like a sperm and not a man. 4) With so many movie stars at the Democrat convention, Zelig/Kerry became a movie actor, staring in his own video complete with re takes. Just like Leonard, these episodes don't last very long. The fact is that neither has a real personality and must constantly search for one. Both are empty.
I am most offended by the media's lack of comment on the Black Power salute, which Kerry seems to use at every appearance these days.
I believe it is because the dominant media are fully part of his election team, and they are extremely complicit in exacerbating racial divides in our country. I really believe that they are hoping for civil "unrest" if the African-Americans are "robbed" of their candidate reaching the White House "again." Charlie Rangel even ended his speech this week by saying "Let the Revolution begin."
With hunters, Kerry described crawling on his belly with his trusty shotgun while hunting deer.
With Iowans, Kerry described the joy and pride of looking backwards from the tractor he was riding on, at the plowed field stretching behind them which was the result of the driver's labor.
Just wait until the pubbies unleash on him at their convention.
Actually, Ketchup Boy's salute reminded me of Johnny Carson's Floyd R. Turbo, 'Mericun...
That's only incidentally the "Black Power" salute. It is the Communist salute from way before the 1960s.
