Waters is a brilliant musician, but a moron when it comes to policy.

Roger, if you're reading this, finish another album and tour again. That I long to see.

But please don't show the world your ignorance regarding the Middle East !!

P.S. I think Israel should "tear down the wall", but after they have bombed the Palestiaian territory back into the middle ages !!

Well, I guess "he" don't need no education...

Seriously, the song "Brain Damage" comes to mind.

I still enjoy listening to the bootleg recording of Waters losing it during the last show on the 1977 Animals tour...where he spit on a fan and acted like a complete jerk. Inspired the album The Wall, I understand. Gilmour was so fed up, he walked off stage and Floyd ended up doing a blue improv. for an encore.

So this guy once wrote a song about a wall, and that makes him a credible policy expert on the security wall in Israel?

For those outside Great Britain, a virtual wall will soon be active online where the public can "paint" their own messages.

That oughta be fun.

Poor Roger. Does this megalomaniac still think anyone listens to him?

I'd bet any amount of money that Roger Waters has a security fence around every house he owns.

As a Baby Boomer, I have to plead ignorance.
Who is pink floyd?
Is there some reason I should listen to this man?

Tear down the wall! That was the lyrical message in 1979 from British rock band Pink Floyd, and it's now the message of the group's co-founder Roger Waters, who

Oh well, add another formerly favorite (but now a-hole) rock n roll star to my list of will-never-see-again bands, will never buy anthing connected bands, etc.

Waters is a brilliant lyricist and musician, but he is hopelessly far Left in his political leanings.

Love the guy's music, but he's beyond help when it comes to political issues such as this.

"The poverty inflicted by the wall has been devastating for Palestinians," said Waters. "It has kept children from their schools, the sick from proper medical care and continues to destroy the Palestinian economy."

Why do the Palestinians have to rely on Israel for their well-being? They don't have their own schools, businesses and medical facilities?

If Roger Waters is so eager to see Isrealies killed by suicide bombers, maybe he should strap one onto himself.

Here is a letter to the editor that the Jerusalem Post actually thought fit to print.

Since JPost require registration, here is the letter:

Together, under a higher authority
Sir, - I have been thinking about the situation in the Middle East with great pain in my heart.

Is it not time for all parties concerned to stop fighting for fighting's sake and sit, be calm, and reach agreement - after all, do not all men bleed red? Do not all men come from the same ancestry, equal in whichever God's eyes you are seen through?

To understand humility and humanity it is time all those involved returned to their roots, thought of what they are doing, sat together and shared a holy herb. I call it sacramental cannabis; it is known under different names in each culture, but it is the same holy plant.

There is time to stop the killing, the greed, and the torture. I implore you: Stop, sit, share some sacrament, find your soul again, find understanding and peace. It's there; you are not looking hard enough.

REV. PETER BROWN
The Hawaii Cannabis Ministry
Northampton, UK

"Holy herb"? BS, it's just weed.

FRmail me to be added or removed from this Judaic/pro-Israel ping list.

WARNING: This is a high volume ping list
