Michael Moore Says Americans Are “Ignorant,” Other Countries Should Not Follow America Economically. “In an open letter to the German people in Die Zeit, Moore asked, ‘Should such an ignorant people lead the world?’ Then he began to reflect on things economic. His central insight here is that the American economy, like its people, is pretty crappy, too: ‘Don’t go the American way when it comes to economics, jobs and services for the poor and immigrants. It is the wrong way.’” (David Brooks, Op-Ed, “All Hail Moore,” The New York Times, 6/26/04)

WHAT DO YOU THINK, SENATOR KERRY?

"Immigrants"?

Moore is definitely out of touch with Deutschland, FUR SHUR.

Germany has had in place a "guest worker" program for 5 decades that very carefully makes sure their largest source of immigrants, the Turks, particularly Kurdish Turks, and their children, can never become citizens.

The ultimate German ambition is that these people "go home".

This is a hoot!

Moore isn't an idiot. He is making millions as propagandist. He is venal, evil and duplicitous though. He knows what he is saying is wrong and he does it anyways. He knows he is misleading people and he does it anyways.

Michael Moore is a giant coward. He has never done a single thing for his country which required any sacrifice. He is a typical liberal in that aspect. He is obsessed with money, celebrity and self-importance. Just like his party.

You're most likely right. Those Germans will just eat up the verbal abuse Michael, the Dutch Uncle, is heaping on them.

Americans Are “Ignorant,” Other Countries Should Not Follow America Economically.

Even a stopped clock . . .

Everybody including China is following since America is so far ahead in raw numbers--even if half our wealth is tied up in rusting cars. China has even figured out that property rights is the key to massive economic expansion.

We're not ignorant, we're uninterested. The Noble committee doesn't know anything about show and tell at my local elementary school. It's not because they are ignorant they are simply uninterested. I am not interested in what goes on in pissant little countries whose biggest claim to fame is something that might have mattered 400 years ago or the cheese they make or the unwatchable movies they churn out with subtitles.

Point to be made, the only things that really matter are things that matter to us.

"Americans Are “Ignorant,” Other Countries Should Not Follow America Economically."

He may have a point. A lot of them are stupid enough to pay to see "Fahrenheit 911"

Just a day or so ago Moore was also saying that most Americans are progressive and liberal, and will vote Democrat.

At least in this case, he's keeping his story straight.

Moore's claim that many Americans are ignorant is easy to prove, just look at how many have gone to view his "movie."

Hey, when you're on a low carb diet, or you're diabetic, cheese is your friend.

You betcha' I'm interested in every single variety of cheese from anywhere, even pissant countries!

I love the cheese too but my point was that if the cheese is the most important thing about your country, I'm not interested in your country. Send more cheese however.
