The problem with that example is that as government becomes bigger and bigger (thanks to John Kerry) and the costs of starting and running a small business becomes higher and higher (thanks to John Edwards) the likelihood of that scenario being repeated in the future is less and less. Hence less entrepreneurs and more service workers and, of course, more layers and bureaucrats
