Several sources indicate that Michael Moore may be reconsidering his appearance Wednesday night in Crawford during a screening of his controversial film Fahrenheit 9/11.
Moore announced Monday that he would be in Crawford to introduce the film and to answer questions after the screening.
He issued a letter to the President Monday inviting Mr. Bush, who is spending most of the week at his Central Texas ranch, to join him for the screening.
Moores publicist said Wednesday morning she could not confirm whether the filmmaker has changed his plans, but network television sources indicated that Moore had already made up his mind to stay away from the screening. They quoted an associate producer who said Moore will not make the trip to Crawford.
Representatives of Crawfords Peace House, which is sponsoring the screening, said reports that Moore would not attend Wednesday night were rumors spread by Republicans.

I heard on the radio this AM that folks had deposited large piles of "stuff" at the theater, with a note that said "a pile of "stuff", for a pile of "stuff."

"...rumours spread by Republicans."
I knew it, it is "Bush's fault." I will be surprised if Moore makes an appearance. He is a coward and would flee from people giving him the business.

Sounds like they were exercising a form of free speech.
Surely the obese anti-American celebrity would appreciate that.

Bet he goes---playing a game in hopes of keeping the conservative child killers at home. I doubt bigger cowards exist than the fatuous, obsessed Mr. Moore.

Exactly what I thought when I read it. He's trying a very obvious and clumsy feint to keep the protesters from showing up. C'mon Texans, don't buy it -- the cameras will be there, so show up in force. Wish I could be there.

He he he......
I am wonder if it was either the fact that he was not going to get the confrontation that he wanted from Bush, or if he just would not be able to handle a community knock him and his movie...
Methinks that Mr. Moore's skin maybe a little thin. defiantly not the rest of the body.

Bush should accept the invite, watch the film and rent the theatre for the next hour so he can take center stage and refute the 59 lies in this POS one by one. Blow this thing out of the water.
