Brian on Fox and Friends was doing a segment comparing the Boston and New York baseball teams and the Democrat and Republican conventions. Then he showed a split screen of Kerry's pitch and Bush's pitch. He ended by saying something like you decide who wins. Pretty cool! It was a home run for Brian.
bump!
Tom Knott in The Washington Times ("Kerry loves 'Manny Ortiz' and the Saws," July 28, '04, C1) has a humorous take on the incident.
At the game Kerry threw out the first pitch wasn't he asked who his favorite Red Sox player is and he named someone who never played for the Red Sox?
Kilmeade bump-er-run-ie.
He is so 'right on' at times.
I saw that right before leaving for work.... I love Brian. He has his little jabs that are so great. He plays the stupid jock type but he really is on OUR SIDE!
I love Brian and Steve, but E.D. pulled another leftie plug. remarking that Taaaaraaaaza Heinz-Kerry supports many wonderful causes with her foundation.
He said "Manny ORTEZ" is his current Red Sox fave (confusing Manny Ramirez and David Ortiz), and then went on to say that Eddie Yost was his favorite all time Red Sox player. Problem is that Yost never played a game in a Sox uni - he was only a manager.
Not only the first pitch, but...
(this came from a caller into a radio talk show a few days ago)
After the pitch, the Guardsman was invited to sit next to Kerry in the stands. Per the caller, that lasted about 2 minutes [long enough for the photo-op], after which, the Guardsman was 'escorted' by Kerry personnel to a seat in the very last row of seats in the stadium.
E.D. is just strange. She seems to embrace a flipflop mentality all her own.
I know, sometimes Brian and steve just sit there looking at her with their mouths open.
I wish they'd find a replacement for her. Her head is stuffed with fluff.
E.D has about 6 kids and been married about 3 or 4 times. So that says she is not content. However, she is a Texan but she went to University of Texas so that would explain her leftist leaning.
Yost was a coach for the Red Sox, not a manager. He managed the Washington Senators for one game (he lost), the shortest tenure in major league history. He also was a third base coach for the Mets and Senators.
Yowza. That puts things into perspective!
Yeah, what is up with E.D. lately? Wasn't she giving props to Hillary the other morning?
And the delegate in the quick shot of the Fleet Center's convention floor held his sign upside down- What an IDIOT!!! Oh sorry, that's redundant. Fox Rules (though more Molly & Kiran would be nice).
See #14. That would do it!
