I expect Theresa and Hillay to go at one another like battling Gao'uld system lords.

Theresa Heinz-Kerry addresses an audience of Democrat faithful

I'm between a rock and a hard place here.......This is a fabulous article, but I can't find the "excerpt only" list and don't know if any more of this article can be posted on the forum.

Did this really need to be excerpted??

Good article.

With the help of media-savvy "handlers," Heinz/Heinz Kerry has toned down the rage -- at least temporarily. She doesn't sulk so much at campaign events and hasn't mocked her husband openly in a while. But it's clear she finds her husband's campaign an exasperating drain on her energies. Which, of course, begs the question: If his own uninspired wife can barely muster up a public showing of respect for candidate Kerry, why should voters?

Why indeed!

A more honest explanation for why she acts up and lashes out at the little people as often as she does is that she has felt entitled to do so all her life. The daughter of a prosperous Portuguese doctor based in Mozambique, she married into the Heinz ketchup fortune and has lived in a privileged, fawning echo chamber ever since.

Her colonial memsaab upbringing probably has a lot to do with this. Frances Hodgson Burnett's childrens classic A Little Princess is as good an example as any of the psychologically corrosive effect of a childhood spent being waited on hand-and-foot by people who hate your guts.

Interesting...... my wife who does not follow politics closely at all.... watched Dean's speech with me last night. Her initial comment was that Dean looked like a guy with some real issues. Like he could be a child molester or something. That he has some serious skeletons in his closet.

I told her he was just a liberal fruitcake.

It's amazing how unorganized the mind of Mrs. Kerry(I love it that she hates that)appears whenever she speaks. It's even more amazing that the numbskulls supporting this party gloss that over. Here in LA it is just plain skerry how people fawn over their nominee(when they take a breath from fawning over the fat slob ficticious documentary queen).

Unable to bear his lies, Heinz/Heinz Kerry had a famous fit during a Washington Post interview in 2002 when Kerry denied having Vietnam War flashbacks. Mimicking her husband screaming in panic, she told reporter Mark Leibovich: "I haven't gotten slapped yet," she says. "But there were times when I thought I might get throttled."

Whoa!
