Looks like the RINO Bloomberg kills ANOTHER business as well as the jobs. Small wonder the rest of NY state's taxes go to support the nasty town of NYC.

Someone should be along here shortly to tell "O" that his business really increased due to the smoking ban. (Or that he may have lost his livelihood "but at least he has his health")

Binghamton is far away from NYC and Bloombergs control. The state ban is what killed this business.

This is in upstate New York, not NYC, so it was the RINO Pataki's fault on this one.

I saw an ad recently that claimed heart attacks were down 40% since the smoking ban went into effect. I had to laugh at loud but I suppose some may actually believe such a lie.

How can you blame Rino Bloomberg for a killing a business located more than 200 miles from NYC? And why does RINO Bloomberg get all the blame for the smoking ban? Even if RINO Bloomberg and the NYC Council repealed the smoking ban this afternoon, people would still be prohibited from smoking in bars and restaurants in NYC because of the statewide smoking ban that was passed by RINO Bruno's State Senate and AHOLE Silver's State Assembly, and then signed into law by the biggest RINO of them all, Gov. Pataki.

Small wonder the rest of NY state's taxes go to support the nasty town of NYC.

As much as I hate to say this, NYC pays out to Albany a lot more money than it gets back. BTW, what makes NYC nasty in your mind? Compared to the Binghamton area, NYC is anything but nasty.

On a positive note, business is booming at tobacco shops on Indian reservations from one end of New York State to the other.

So the state government isn't collecting anything close to the tax revenue they projected the last time they hiked the tobacco tax.

Leave now, while its still legal to leave. Politicians love a fight, but they hate losing tax revenue. Leave and give them something to hate.

Better yet: ROLL YOUR OWN AND SAVE LINING THE STATE COFFERS WITH CIGARETTE TAX MONEY!

I have been rolling my own for over 4 years. For a little under $8 dollars I have a beautifully rolled CARTON of cigarettes! It's wonderful!

And like a drop of water in a desert, the same paper this morning carried a letter to the editor noting how 2nd hand smoke's danger was based on junk science. It was laughed out of court.

Good for you!  Good time too.  Wait until you see how much money you have save for Christmas.  I started rolling my own in the month of JUNE.  By the time December came, I had LOTS of money left over for presents.  It's just wonderful.  I just pray to God that the gluttons don't get their hands on this, yet.

But, at $5.75 a bag of tobacco, it will take them a LONG time to get the bag of tobacco up to $45.00 that a carton costs.  I'm so happy with this.
