An argument between a man and his fiancee is being blamed for a car crashing into a building just south of downtown this morning.
The accident happened about 8:20 a.m. when an Infiniti sedan struck High Fashion Decorative Fabrics at 3000 Louisiana, damaging a wall of the store. The business was closed at the time, and no one inside was injured, police said.
The woman, whose name was not released, was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The man told police he had gotten out of the car after an argument, and his fiancee was following him in the car when the crash happened.

Has the recipe for any given episode of 'COPS'
1. one wrecked car in wall, fence, home or ditch
2. one guy without shirt
3. one bystander getting too close to the actions

Don't forget the omnipresent "What do we have here?" traffic stop, wherein a bag of weed/vial of crack/PCP is found on the suspect's person.

Oh, man, I hope High Fashion is okay. That's where we get most of our costume materials!

High Fashion is in a very tough part of Houston, but the store itself is fabulous.

That is neither my car nor my man. Thank goodness on both counts.

You know you're in a bad neighborhood when someone says, "Hey this place looks familiar... I know, I saw it on COPS."

Just once, it would be nice to have a Houston wedding that didn't end up with a car plowing through a wall.

FABULOUS!

I had no idea they let her out of jail already - and she moved to Houston nonetheless...

*cough*
No, this is NOT my fault.
D.E.S., thanks for the article, it's funny and raises a few questions.
Did she try to run him down when she hit the wall?

How'd you like her driving?
Knocked a pretty big hole there for merely 'following' her fiance, right?
