HOLLY HILL, Fla. -- A powerful bomb exploded in a Holly Hill park. Now investigators are on the scene to try to figure out what the bomb was made of and who set it off. They're saying it's a good thing no one was around when it went off, because this was a big bomb. Investigators are still looking for pieces of the bomb, which are scattered all over the place.
The bomb was in a trashcan there. Investigators say, this was no ordinary pipe bomb.
"This is not a chemical bomb that some kids did. This is a major explosion," an investigator told Channel 9.
The Volusia County Bomb Squad is on the scene making sure there are no more devices. They did have their dog out earlier and he didn't find anything.
Investigators are going to be on the scene for some time, trying to find every little piece of the bomb that they can.
If you have any information, there is a $2,500 reward for a tip that leads to an arrest.
.
SOMEBODY SET UP US THE BOMB!!!!
Interesting. Wasn't Kerry supposed to be going to Kennedy Space Center? Volusia is just north of there.
I'm sure terrorism plays not role here. I'm sure CNN et al will tell us so...
WTF???

Volusia County...Daytona Beach area?
I'm not familiar with Holly Hill. Where is it in proximity to Daytona or Deland?
WHAT YOU SAY?

It's you!!!
Make your time!
Kerry is in Boston
Was this article written by a fourth grader. It is so juvenile in its structlure it is hard to believe it is for real.
It smells like a test/threat. I always take these things with a grain of salt given the hyperbole that flies around the media when it comes to things like this. But it sounds like the authorities were definitely rattled by it (no pun intended).
Could be ELF, could be Islamists, but it doesn't sound like it was an amateur according to the report...
Summer vacation replacement intern?
Sounds like AlQaeda doing some testing for a more populated day -- Labor Day maybe??
Wanna bet, anyone?
Unless technology has gone backwards over the last 40 years, it is certainly possible that 'some kids' did it.
I assumed he basically tried to transcribe what he heard on the television since the television was the source.
