I need your help!!

One of my Left Wing nut job friends thought it would be funny to put me on Kerry’s mailing list. Yesterday I received the letter above and, of course, attached to the letter was also a solicitation for a campaign contribution.

As you can see above, it also came with a metered return envelope. So I thought I'd turn the tables on my liberal friend and send J.K. a handful of fishing weights and let the Kerry Campaign pay the postage. Or, I could actually send him a campaign contribution, only it would be an envelope full of pennies. (I wonder if the postage would be more than the value of the pennies?).

Here's where I need your help... As I was pondering what to do with the envelope I thought: “the gang over at Free Republic is a creative group, why not solicit ideas from them.”

So please reply back with your ideas, keep it legal, and I’ll use the cleverest idea . (Oh, I whited out the permit number from the scanned image of the envelope above. I know that no Freeper would ever use if for illegal purposes, but you never know what kind of unsavory characters else might be lurking!)

Looks like Teresa got to you. I tried posting Chelsea-Drunk photos a few weeks ago, and within a few hours they were toast.

You might want to send them a check.

Seriously, send them a check for say, fifty cents. By the time they open it, process it, deposit it, enter your name in the data banks and send you a thank you, they will be down at least five to ten bucks.

I had a dispue with a credit card company and closed the account by paying it $1.00 more then I owed them. They had to rebill me for a negative amount, send me a letter asking me what to do with the dollar and then finally they sent me a check for one dollar.

I hoped it irritated them, even if just a tad.

Great idea!!!

And I can put a big "W" in the memo on the check!

The next Hillary Clinton campaign (whetherfor Senator of President) I plan on sending her a check for $5.00 and writing "For sexual favors" on the the memo line. I know it's a disgusting thought but I'd like to see if they cash it.

So let's see, from my 10 second skim: the Pubbies are running a say anything, do anything campaign? Sounds like the Dems to me. And ANWAR? OK, Michael Moore says we aren't friends with the Saudis and we shouldn't have invaded Iraq. Just where are we going to get oil?

Did you see the part where Kerry has been "fighting his whole life" for this day, or something like that. That always creeps me out a little... all these images of "if I make hall monitor, it will help me run for President"... "if I make the honor roll, I can be President." That admission does shed more light on Kerry's marriages, of couse. But I just don't entirely trust someone whose whole life has been a build up to running for President.

If you stuff the envelopes full of weights, the Post Office will discard it as junk. Bad ideas also include putting any biological matter in the envelope, or any powdery substance.

The simplest and most effective method is either just send the letter back in the metered envelope, or fill out the forms pledging a decent amount, but omit the check. The latter option is only for those willing to continue to receive mailings reminding them of the pledge.

Re: my previous.... the second option could be considred unethical (pledging money you do not intend on contributing) so bear that in mind if going that route.

Based on your insight regarding how the post office handles overweigt metered mail.

I'm leaning towards sending him a colllection of Humorous Kerry Pics gleaned from the pages of Free Republic.
