A prediction

Based on what I have heard,I'm going to make a prediction.

Bill Clinton will file for divorce after the convention.

If my prediction comes about, I will treat my source with much more respect. If it's just BS, my source will lose privileges.

What kind of privileges will your source lose if he is wrong? And if I give you a scoop that pans out, what kind of privileges will I get?

hhhmmmm.....interesting. I have read somewhere that he has a new honey bunny. But wait a minute, that would mean that he couldn't get back in the White House! That would mean that Hillary wouldn't have a chance of getting the nomination in 08, let alone get elected. The people who would vote for her would have in the back of their mind that Bill would be there if she got into trouble...so this is just interesting.

That would mean Number (forty) TWO would miss out being First Man to President Hillary. Would he really give that up for....what?

Your "source" isn't another Portly Pepperpot, is she?

> Bill Clinton will file for divorce after the convention.

Well, to be a bit contrarian, this was predicted for:
* after he left office, and
* after Hillary got elected.

If it's to happen at all, they need to put as much time
between that event and Hillary's next campaign, so it
would make sense to act soon.

But I'm sure Kerry would prefer "after the election",
rather than "after the convention". After the convention
is more consistent with Clinton sabotage theories.

Since the Clinton marriage is a sham, what's the motive
for the divorce? Bill would lose any chance of being
"First Feller" to Hill's POTUS, so he's probably happier
statying married (plus it gives him cover with the babes
that would otherwise want to marry him). Perhaps Hill sees
him as baggage impeding any White House run. Maybe Hill
wants to boggie to Mass and marry a girlfriend.

Well, he is a favorite to run for Pres. in France...No use draggin' the old ball and chain around with all of those thong and beret opportunities over there.

I think in 2008 Hillary will be too old to run for president. She's no spring chicken now, never was particularly good looking and people these days expect their politicians to be physically attractive. Older men are still attractive by most people's standards, but older women are not.

A more beautiful woman might not have this problem, but Hillary does.

JMHO.

I recall forecasts that hitlery would initiate the divorce right after leaving the WH. Didn't happen.

Either of them would file in a panic rush if they thought it would increase the chance to get their own sorry opporunistic self-aggrandizing butt back into power.

This has been predicted by many freepers, including myself, for sometime now. Hillary will be made out as the victim by her friends in the liberal media, which will set her up as the savior to the Democrats once John Kerry is defeated in November.

Well if this rumor is suddenly all over the internet and media 'whispers'/'wink, wink, knudge, knudge' open gossip in the next 24 hours, then it is a Dem planted rumor that will quickly be denounced quite publicly by the Clintons or the Dems during the convention as 'dirty right-wing gutter attacks'. IOW, a rumor straw man. The dems love playing the victim.

I predict your source is wrong.

They have been married 30+ years. "It's not your normal marriage".

Hillary still want's to run, and a divorce is not going to help her. Bill would love to see Hillary win, it would help validate his presidency as being a popular enough president to have his wife elected.

If they divorce, and I doubt they will, nothing will happen until it is too late for Hillary to step into the election after Kerry realizes he is going to lose and withdraws.
