SAN FRANCISCO - San Francisco's supervisors agreed Tuesday to place before voters in November a proposal allowing people who are not U.S. citizens to vote in school board elections.

If voters approve the City Charter amendment, San Francisco would become the first jurisdiction in California to allow people who are not U.S. citizens to cast ballots in any election.

a proposal allowing people who are not U.S. citizens to vote in school board elections.

They why bother EVER to become a citizen? Will they also send out absentee ballots TO THE WORLD? If not, why not? The rest of the world are not US citizens either.

Excuse me?

Has San Francisco seceded from the State of California, or just the United States?

Can war be far behind? ;)

The flat out stupidity of people from San Francisco never ceases to amaze me. They have to be the most officious and pretentious people in the country. They seem to do things only to p**s off the rest of us. What is surprising is that you'd think there are enough well-to-do fairies out there to stabilize things.

What is wrong with requiring them to become US citizens first?

Yes, but how?

We have neither the resources nor the desire to nuke San Francisco, and the terrorists certainly won't; they have too many friends there.

A large part of California property tax supports schools. Illegal aliens don't usually own property, most pay miniscule taxes on anything, yet these idiots in San Francisco want them to vote on school matters? I hope the perpetrators of this stupidity get ran out of town.

Are they going to allow non-citizens to vote on this vote to allow non-citizens to vote?

Illegal? Merely a technicality in SF.
Don't forget this is the same city that allowed homosexuals to marry...
Aren't you glad you don't live there and be the butt of jokes around the country!!(pun intended)

Welcome home, veteran!

It's called "sedition" and is highly punishable, if anyone had the guts to prosecute.

Hey, you know... I think North Korea was threatening to nuke San Francisco... maybe we could cut a deal, they get rid of their nukes, we choose the disposal site!
