UPDATE:
Full info.
Slow to load; their server must be pretty busy.
To: zook
If true, can I return my copy of the 9/11 comittee report?
To: zook
John Kerry and Terry McAuliffe must be getting furious at the Burglar story getting out of hand right before the convention......

Hope the former security man has his own security. Arkancide can be painful.
To: GRANGER
Not a part of the 9/11 report...if true, it means Berger sucessfully removed all copies from the Archive. If true, it means that the conclusions of the 9/11 report are demonstrably untrustworthy. That would be a HUGE story.

This coincides with Al Hunt's column in the WSJ earlier in the week, which basically said catching bin Laden is no big deal, and if he's caught in October as an October surprise, the Democrats should down play it and American people should not make too much out of it.
It fits nicely into this, published on the same day or following day.

(You can turn your head away from the Berg video and still hear Al Queda's calls to prayer.)
To: zook
I guess all the things I've been saying about Berg-lar were harsh. If I'd nixed a strike on al-quaeda pre-9/11 I guess I'd be stealing the documents that prove it, too.

I guess Berger can honestly say the commission got all the documents they requested... because they can't request documents they aren't aware of.

Absolutely. That pulled thread was a New York Sun article. This thread is just a Drudge siren. Please reinstate that other thread!

Gee, I wonder what reasons Kerry's national security advisor Sandy Burglar had for 'inadvertantly' stuffing secret national archive documents in his socks and taking them offsite?
If he modified those documents to hide his rejection of capturing Osama bin Laden, he should be beaten with sticks on national TV.

"In other words, according to the commission report, Mr. Berger was presented with plans to take action against the threat of Al Qaeda four separate times Spring 1998, June 1999, December 1999, and August 2000. Each time, Mr. Berger was an obstacle to action. Had he been a little less reluctant to act, a little more open to taking pre-emptive action, maybe the 2,973 killed in the September 11, 2001, attacks would be alive today."
