The most racist people I have ever lived around were in the Northeast.
Agreed.
LOL!! Me too! I was born and raised in Mississippi, but I never saw REAL prejudice and bigotry until after I married and we lived in NJ!! There it wasn't just black and white, it was Jew vs Christian, Italian vs Irish, Polish vs German! I'd never seen anything like it in my life!
Speaking as someone who grew up on Lawn Guyland's South Shore (Buttafuoco country) I agree wholeheartedly. The northeast, for all of its liberal pretensions, is the most segregated region of the country, with fairly open racism (at least in the blue collar portions) to boot.
"Last night I saw Lester Maddox on a TV showRednecks
With some smart ass New York Jew
And the Jew laughed at Lester Maddox
And the audience laughed at Lester Maddox too ..."
Absolutely!! It is part of their innate arrogance which is the reason for their "democrat" fervor. Always superior to the "little people" (Martha?)they feel the need to control everyone's life through the almighty government.
I soon as I can retire, I will leave this "Democrat heaven" away from their senators, their killing taxes, the friking snow, the potholes, the crowds, the overpriced housing..lousy highways..lousy restaurants..lousy malls..and stinking democrats (Mr. Maher).
LORD,give me the south any day!
