The similarity to Scott Peterson is eerie. Scott told family and friends that he was going to ASU, even picked and moved there. But never even applied to the school. The only good thing about this case coming up now is that it will hurt Scott. He was beginning to make inroads into public opinion, especially with men, who couldn't conceive of a man killing his pregnant wife, just to avoid becoming a father.

So many people are spoiled, spoiled, spoiled to the point that when they want something...they want it right then and there. Cell phones, drive thru meals, abortions, high-speed Internet, microwaves, etc. Not that having these things is a crime, but I think that many of the 20-somethings have never had to wait for a darn thing. Quick fixes for everything.

I agree. I can't count the times I heard someone quesdtion his motive by saying "well, why didn't he just get a divorice?" But a divorice and child support was exactly what Scott was trying to avoid.
