thing about this case coming up now is that it will hurt Scott. He was beginning to make inroads into public opinion, especially with men, who couldn't conceive of a man killing his pregnant wife, just to avoid becoming a father.

They wouldn't be the first men to kill their wives/girlfriends to avoid paternity. They had that character in the NFL do it years ago. I guess in their minds, the law doesn't give them much recourse.
