Maybe she's got a crush on Michael Moore and this is the only way she can think of to meet him...

Catchy phrase. I like it.

If those two ever got together, it would be a 3.7 on the Richter scale.

Linda Ronstadt is a nobody now...not even worth listening to. This was the over-50-years-old group in the audience. I doubt that she makes more than $50k a year now. Let the dimwit fall down and make her way back to Tucson. Its not worth our time or effort.
To: Juan Medén
LOL...it'd be like two superballs being thrown together. Ah the imagery!

Are you kidding? The same could have been said for Whoopie. It sends a signal to other performers to keep their political opinions out of their performance.

Maybe her career will totally tank and she'll end up singing in "Summer Lawn Concerts" that attract a few hundred seniors carrying lawn chairs.

Hey Linda!
If we wanted political opinions, we'd have watched the news.

Her career is already in the tank. This let's other performers know we are watching and that if they want to make political statements they should schedule a "Linda Ronstadt Exposes Her Mushy Head" event and not use their performances as a platform for political action, performances on which people are spending good money to be entertained with music and song.

Thats how I see this. All that will result is this pig will claim "victim status".

From Argus Hamilton:
Linda Ronstadt was fired by the Aladdin in Las Vegas for dedicating a ballad to Michael Moore Saturday night. It's so sad. Hardly a day goes by that SlimFast doesn't cross another name off the list of possible replacements for Whoopi Goldberg.

I think it's unfortunate that people on this forum choose to belittle the great Linda Rondstat and make a big deal about her so-called weight problem. Just because she's a little fat doesn't mean we can assume she has a weight problem. Perhaps she's just retaining a little water and has been eating a few too many buffalo wings, right?
