BAGHDAD, July 21 (UPI) -- Iraqi security reportedly discovered three missiles carrying nuclear heads concealed in a concrete trench northwest of Baghdad, official sources said Wednesday. The official daily al-Sabah quoted the sources as saying the missiles were discovered in trenches near the city of Tikrit, the hometown of ousted Iraqi President Saddam Hussein. "The three missiles were discovered by chance when the Iraqi security forces captured former Baath party official Khoder al-Douri who revealed during interrogation the location of the missiles saying they carried nuclear heads," the sources said. They pointed out that the missiles were actually discovered in the trenches lying under six meters of concrete and designed in a way to unable sophisticated sensors from discovering nuclear radiation. The sources said al-Douri, who is related to former Vice Chairman of the Iraq Revolution Council and Saddam's right-hand man Izzat Ibrahim al-Douri, was captured after Iraqi police intercepted an e-mail message in which he set a meeting with another former Baath official. The report could not be authenticated by the interior ministry or the national security department, but the paper noted Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshiar Zibari made a surprise request recently to Mohammed el-Baradei, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, to resume inspections for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
If you read the original Iraqi article, it's not even anonymous third world OFFICIALS; it's anonymous "political sources" who could be basically anybody, the yahoo intern at the from the office of the Iraqi Popular People's Party down the street, etc.
so is the big idiot o'reilly going to rescind his initial "apology" about not finding WMDs?
THE UN -- TOMORROW
Warner looked like the cat that had swallowed the canary yesterday while giving that press conference after the briefing.
Maybe they disclosed the nuclear find at that briefing?
I guess the Sand Burglar story will have to do...
yep. Iraqi interior ministry calls the report "stupid"
The Clintons will be laughing about it next week, too, as Billy's recent statements have moved surprisingly close toward partial support of President Bush's actions. BJ's been playing both stories with insider information, methinks.

We thought this was unbelievable too...
MiG Jet Fighter Found Buried in Iraq
Things that make you go hmmmmmmm.....
I don't think we should be waiting for a comment from someone in uniform that will never come. Why you might ask? Well because the mainstream media is NEVER gonna report something this damning, and to make matters worse, with the DNC coming up, they won't even touch this story.
Mike
The report is a DU plant to take away from the Berger scandal. As you can already see, the Berger thing has been effectively buried.
Kerry no longer claims him, Clinton is lauding him and the left is turning him into a victim. This so reeks of memogate of last year which Hannity got his hands on. The RATS commit a crime then blame the Republicans for getting their hands on the evidence.
That is why we need a national newspaper. To counter the RATS monopoly of the print media. WABC and FOX took care of the other two outlets.
Next step up from a "Monica"...?
Saddam's not really an exploiter, he's a planner and a sneak attacker and literally owned his loyalists. He trusted no one!!!!!! (Except Dan Blather).
Who are "they"?
That doesn't surprise me. There's no way this report is accurate.
Story is being discredited by Reuters right now..
Democrats question timing: "Revealing this in an election year, just before the release
of the 9/11 Commission report and the Kerry convention is highly suspicious."
Yes, you can be on two axes. It's called the origin point.
The Dims need to send 'The Berglar' into Iraq to 'inadvertantly' put the nukes in his pants.
