Lawmen Contradict Berger's Sox Docs Denials Law enforcement officials are contradicting denials from Sandy Berger's lawyer and two friends who say the former National Security Advisor never stuffed super-secret 9/11 documents into his socks during three or more visits to the National Archives last fall. Former Clinton press secretary Joe Lockhart challenged the socks-stuffing account as well, telling CNN, "That is absurd - and anyone who says that is interested in something other than the truth." Former Clinton White House counsel Lanny Davis bluntly rejected the socks-stuffing witnesses, saying, "I suggest that person is lying. Let's see who it is who made the comment that Sandy Berger stuffed something into his socks." According to Davis, Berger is "a person of impeccable honesty and integrity."

Reports CNN's Bob Franken: "Three law enforcement sources talking to CNN's Justice Department correspondent Kelli Arena [say] they saw him, or that he had been seen putting documents in his socks." Earlier in the day, Berger's lawyer Lanny Breuer dismissed allegations that his client had crammed the secret files into his pants and socks, calling those reports "ridiculous."

Now that's funny.
I saw it...they should all be fired for their lack of intellectual honesty...
Think it through, you don't want cameras in the room where TOP SECRET documents are reviewed. Certainly cameras at the entrances, but not in the room.
Heard a person earlier on the radio who had high level security clearance earlier in his career. He discussed a few of the security procedures, and how someone without the proper clearance would have to wear a flashing light to identify themselves as such, and that when they entered a room everyone would have to close their folders while he was present, lest anything be compromised. Also there are always supposed to be another person in the room, and so if Sandy Burglar stole any documents, that person(s) in theory is subject to the same prosecution if not promptly reported. Left unclear was why that person(s) did not prevent any docs from being taken.
Besides, no one should believe a word that is reported by DEBKA...
Bill Clinton + Sandy Berger investigation = arkancide
The rat in the hat
Had docs in his socks...
LOL!
If Berger gets away with this...I am gonna to to a jeweler and inadvertantly stuff diamond covered Rolex's in my jock...
Honest officer! I didn't mean to do it....
Of course not! It was inadvertant and sloppy ;)
;) LOL
So when are the socks, pants, shorts, and jacket going to be displayed next to the blue dress?
"I did not have socks with those documents!"
bill's white shoe to the right
And the fact that stolen top secret documents were found in his home clearly atests to that..
My unnames sources say there is no videotape. But he made three or more trips, and he was being watched.
Does CNN have a foreing policy, other than whatever Michael Moore is currently saying?
Is it just me, or does Joe Lockhart always look like he's got indigestion? He should do an endorsement deal with Maalox--I know the look on his face makes me want to reach for my bottle.....
Socks the cat and Socks the Bergler.
