I've heard two cable reporters (one FOXNEWS, one MSNBC) say that Berger was planning a book.
How concrete do you need it to be, bjs?
The Dumbs have Lanny Davis, Peter Fenn, Chris Lahane, and others of their big swinging richards out blowing smoke every which way. That tells me that they have panicked over this.
The FBI has a criminal investigation of Samuel going on.
This investigation was reportedly initiated by some person or persons at the National Archives who saw Ham Berger take the classified documents.
He himself has appeared on camera making a statement that he made an awful mistake.
I suspect that his career as Secretary of State in a Kerry administration (shudder) has gone down the tubes.
Well, I hope everyone involved goes down with him... I am a die-hard Republican, but anyone who choses personal monetary gain over the safety of this nation needs to go down, and down hard. We are Americans, first and foremost, political affiliation aside.
I guess I will have to take your word for that and the accuracy of those two reports you heard to boot. Please explain how writing a book condons stealing classified material from the government as you indicated, "copies" or not?
Sink, from the reporting I've heard, what has disappeared (as opposed to what was merely illegally taken and returned) are marked up drafts which were circulated to various department heads for comment relating to actions in re the Millineum project.
I'd say it was substantially more than just copies.
Even these "drafts" had copies made.
Just don't get to depressed if it doesn't come down the way you think. We are of the same heart.
Well Sinky, from what I HEARD(if you don't mind), he even stoled copies of the copies!
OK. Well, I'll wait to see what is discovered, as long as Justice nails his butt!
Could you provide an earlier outrage over this of yours, or are you just trying to maintain your status here?
Huh? I don't understand.
Sounds like we have some foxes in the hen house.
You forgot DNA samples plus clothing fibers (FTL, Boxers?)
Very interesting.
Clarke and Berger should be tried for treason. Never mind making them big shots in some homeland security scam company.
Oh yeah, that. That's Tmart.
To borrow a line from Clinton, "Because he could?"
Just show me where you were upset over Sandy's stealing documents on a earlier thead. Is that so hard to understand? Why is this just as hard as questioning a democrat?
What the hell is this? I don't have to show you anything, pal.
We're on the same side on this issue. Get the burr out from under your saddle.

I'm thinking Sinkspur's been raising some good cautionary points. Let the evidence lead this. Heck, I'd like to lynch a Clintonista as much as anyone. And if they try the stuff they got away with flagrantly in the 90's I'd like to help pick that frayed rope. But groupthink, and wine for me, sometimes gets ahead of the newscycle. Take a breath. Tomorrrow's a new newscycle.
