Berger just made a statement - about 30 seconds long. Lame...very lame...and there was nothing believable about it.

I was lucky enough to catch part of this rant on my lunch break today. Hysterical, sharp, and right on target - vintage Rush. Especially the Gorelick reference.

Hey Sandy, are you just happy to see us, or do you have another load in your pants?

I always thought he was a pantload. It's grand being vindicated.

The real nugget in all of this:

"....The information was so obviously damning that he risked his career and freedom to take this information out of there and do who-knows-what with it...."

I have no doubt that Dem operatives were the ones that leaked this info about the investigation. This follows the pattern that we came to know so well during the Clinton presidency- leak embarassing news to the media, then blame the GOP (or Ken Starr, or Matt Drudge, or...) for leaking while also sending a horde of sock puppets onto the news shows to spin the story into the ground. It is all too familiar, but I suppose it it worked so well back then, why not do it again?

...I inadvertently took a few documents.

Here's another one.

Remember when Al Gore was caught taking a bust of Abraham Lincoln from the White House?

An ex-Gore staffer told the GAO that other Gore aides had "inadvertently packed" the Lincoln bust and shipped it off to the Gore homestead, reported the New York Post.

One of the hardest things to admit here is that we're always being outsmarted by these wipes. That has to end, and it has to end soon. Who held the possession key to these documents? Was it the White House, Congress? Pardon the question if it's simple, but I really don't know and would like to find out. And if the key was held by we Republicans why don't we have 'copies' of this stuff?

I apologize because I've gotten off the path where we need to take this, because this is huge. (Laughing.)

Hugh and series.

Has anyone estimated the Bergler's waist size yet? I'd guess it at 55" - 60". There's a lot of room in trousers that big.

Hell, he could stuff an entire file cabinet in his butt crack and no one would even notice.

We're not talking about some petite delicate little thing here. In five trips, the economy-sized Bergler could hijack half of the Library of Congress.

Rush: "Is it time maybe for John Kerry to have something to say about this? I mean, look at two of Kerry's advisors: Joe Wilson -- now patented liar -- and Sandy Berger, thief. Well, presumed, alleged thief. Oh, he admitted it. He's a thief. He admitted he took the documents, a sloppy, sloppy thief."
...patented liar...presumed alleged thief...a sloppy, sloppy thief.

Damn. Rush must be beside himself on this. I wish I'd heard him say these lines. I'd have been ROFLMAO.
