One thing I did hear today was Chris Lehane. He was trying the "suspicious timing" and "blame it on Republicans" spin. (He is SUCH a weasel.) BUT, they had Victoria Toensing appearing with him on Fox, and she sliced and diced him quite nicely. He kept trying to act like this was no big deal, and Victoria was having none of it...plus she was positively DRIPPING with contempt as she talked to Lehane. It was quite nice!
ABC: some documents may still be missing.
NBC: Also, when they told him that documents were missing, the documents he returned were NOT the ones they knew to be missing.
He took articles the very first day.
Berger pleaded with the government to keep this quite, so it wouldn't be blown out of proportion, says ABC.
NOT A WORD on CBS yet, just more negativity about Iraq.

However..( And I almost flew off the treadmill at the gym when I saw this )-Bob Franken of CNN acted like he worked for FOXNews and disputed Ann Lewis and even challenged how she could have any idea of the nature of the documents.
I will check the Weather Channel to see if Hell has frozen over.
Franken went on to say that the documents were beyond Top Secret-IIRC , he called them Q class.

I listened to Jennings as long as I could stand him - he tried to play it as a Democrat Republican thing....never saying that Berger flatout broke a law regardless.

Now we are officially in a huge scandal when Ann Lewis is brought on to assure us all is well and this is just normal and to be expected behavior.
