""Mr. Berger does not want any issue surrounding the 9/11 commission to be used for partisan purposes...." " Too late. The 9-11 Commission has been a partisan circus from Day-1.

Me being a flunk out of 3rd year German, and for others that may not know "Schadenfreude" is the rejoicing in others misfortune.
So we are having a Schandenfreude Fest, LOL!

The Clintons are behind this leak. This is their shot across the Kerry bow. They run the Democratic Party, not John F*ckin.' And they're telegraphing him they can take him out anytime they want. The goods they had on Berger is just penny-ante stuff.

"The investigation on Berger has been ongoing for about 7 months now. Why did Kerry's campaign keep him on board for so long? see my post 229, Great Minds....

" this has a lot of parallels to Watergate"....
(forgive me for this, but...)
Now we need to find 'deep-throat' so we can get the real story... Monica where are you?????
To: Steve_Seattle
I heard someone report today that he was unpaid. Now I forget when it was reported by Fox News or I heard it on the radio.
To: Indy Pendance
A campaign source very close to US Senator John Kerry says the campaign only learned of the investigation into Samuel Berger yesterday. BULL .. He has the FBI check out the background of his VP and he doesn't check out what's going on with the FBI showing up at his Foreign policy advisers home and office???

Don't forget lead balloon #3 -- Joe Wilson being cut off at the knees last week by the Kerry campaign (web links severed).I did forget about that with all the hype about this story today. Looks like the john/john ticket is taking a pounding lately. Just before the convention may mean the witch from NY may try to save the DNC.

I even wrote my local Atlanta radio station today to complain of their reporter calling Bergers actions inadvertent. It got read on "The Kimmer" show and they have been playing the Hayworth clip ever since.
Go local. Call local affiliates and local radio to get the word out.

If nothing else, Leno, Letterman and Conan will probably be making cracks (no pun intended) about this story for a week or two.

Maybe Hillary wanted him to be close to Kerry.Interesting thought. Now Hillary has lost her inside man in the Kerry campaign.

VICTORIA TOENSING, paraphrased from FoxNews a few minutes ago: There should be a Justice Department subpoena of all Kerry campaign documents regarding advice from Sandy Berger. Echoed by Rep. J.D. Haworth (R-AZ) on Hannity's radio show.
To: Mo1
You're right, I'm just going by that article, (now gone) that was just posted. Still, kerry is going to spin it as he didn't know anything. He has to or he's in just as much hot water as Berger.
To: Recovering_Democrat
I don't care if he quits, they oughta fry Frenchie and grill Berger!

Not paid? What Dem ever does anything for free?
Or was it a case of "Steal the documents, Berger, or end up in Marcy Park with a bullet through your head"?
