He stands for everything that Bush has already done or planned to do.

He also believes in killing babies, a handout for every vote and health care at any institute the government funds. If you have any assets, they will take them as compensation.

It was just mentioned in a News Max article:And then there's this tidbit: "Officials with the Bush-Cheney campaign point out that Berger gave a surprise background briefing to reporters on Feb. 27 on behalf of the Kerry campaign, in which he outlined airline security issues apparently drawn from the now-missing classified memos Berger is accused of removing from the National Archives," FNC reported.

Ah, the February 27 date we heard Fox report this morning. Thanks.

Another piece of the puzzle - the Bush campaign chiding Kerry about skipping his terror briefing.

"...this should result in federal felony convictions for Berger for removing and destroying the documents, and possibly for supplying them to Kerry; and for Kerry, if he knowingly received and used stolen classified information."

The fact that Kerry had some of the information on port security on his website, then yanked it when the poop hit the fan, is good enough to convince me that the Kerry people know what they did.

What do we think we've proven here?

Just that Kerry04 deleted a press release directly on point in re the Republican Senators' comments. It's a sign of guilt.

well at least now it is a real story... He's gonna need a double dose of botox to smooth out the wrinkles before the love-in next week.

Does the name Clinton ring a bell? Perhaps the wife who has aspirations?

NO ONE will energize the GOP base faster and more thoroughly than Hillary. She will lose & lose BIG.

A wise man, indeed.

Without knowing specifically what was in the purloined documents, how can we attribute anything that Kerry said to information provided in those documents? The anti-terrorism policy in those Kerry links did not seem to rely on any classified or hidden information; any policy wonk could come up with similar recommendations/policies in an hour or two.

The NYT is reporting that Berger took two "slightly different" copies of a report. He must have been trying to sanitize the files somehow. Why else would one take two copies of essentially the same report? Maybe information in an earlier draft was surpressed for political reasons, and Berger was trying to cover the tracks. If it were just a matter of having a reading copy of a report, why would you take multiple copies of the same report?

It would be very interesting to know the version history of that report, what changes were made from draft to draft, and why.

So is Hillary going to step in now to replace Kerry and save the day?

Oh, (heart sinking like a stone), of course, now her peeps will be calling her and she won't refuse. Let's hope it doesn't come to that. Makes you wonder, since her hubby, X42i, instructed Berger to take (and keep taking) the documents, if this wasn't a plan all along. But that is almost tin-foil hat thinking. Anyway, the major news people seem to be sitting on it or spinning it into some kind of VRWC. And the sheeple will buy it. It just keeps getting worse.

I think Berger just got sick of sitting in the archives and taking notes.

I get sick of paying taxes, but I'd bet that somebody would send me to jail if I didn't pay them. ;-)

Always ask why this, why now? Who released this info? Who does it benefit?

It certainly puts the whole Joe Wilson/yellowcake story on the back burner.

Who is known for leading with a sensational, attention-grabbing scandal, in order to cover up less sexy but more serious allegations?

People keep saying that when the obvious fallout is Hillary! will be implicated.

I don't know about this but I do think we now know why Hillary always seems to be in a pantsuit...documents would fall through a skirt;)

SEN. GORDON SMITH: 'There is a curious connection between the removal of these documents and the Kerry press conference on port security...It's disappointing what people might do as they try and take the President down.

Mmmmm, dry toast... I'm a fan of Elwood and dry toast!

Let's hope Kerry is toast (and his replacement not Hillary) - that's one dry toast I can't stomach.
