I knew the Left was going to villify Arnie and cover up for Sandy's far more egregious conduct--what a total crime this all is.
Gergen is the Democrats' designated shitter, seldom trotted out except in extreme unction......so this affair must be potentially disasterous in the 'Rats way of thinking.
Gergen obviously is ready to go at a moment's notice when the trumpet sounds.

I loved the political parody they had on - esp where Clinton had his arm around the woman and Hillery slapped him and he said, "What'd I do wrong?".
Gergen is being paid off.

Gergen is damaged goods, has been for a number of years. When you hitch your wagon to the likes of Clinton, you're going to be rolling through a mountain of prarie patties.
Gergen: "It depends how it bounces in press. The Washington Post played it inside the paper [surprise!]. If it becomes a front page story there will be pressure on him to distance himself or take aleave from campaign." But not to worry, this "doesn't reflect on Sen. Kerry."
Gee Gergen .. what do you think are the chances are that Sandy shared his notes with the Kerry Camp
Something a Former National Security Adviser should also know is ILLEGAL
I saw Gergen on MSNBC. Another Freeper informed me it was most likely the tape from the Today Show. (I had been listening, not watching, so didn't catch it was Couric--besides--they played just clips).
I was appalled and aghast at Gergen's outright defense of this outrageous revelation of Berger smuggling out classified documents and destroying some. I noted Gergen even mentioned the word "destroyed" but claimed there were copies, so implied we weren't to think this was a big deal.
And then I saw the part about his claim the "timing" was suspicious.
Lord, give me strength.

Just heard Gergen sound bites on the Laura Ingraham show. Yikes, I didn't realize how much he sounds like Larry Flynt, but it figures.
Enquiring minds want to know how Gergles knows this for a fact. The only thing I've read to support this is a statement from Berger that he believed there were other copies. What if he took the originals and all that's left are xeroxes? Those are not nearly as valuable as the originals.
