On a TV interview, one of the commission members (It was either Keane or Leahy), in defending Gorelick's being on the commission, said that she had the skills and had done such a good job in selecting the documents that the commission should reivew. I gave up on that commission when I heard that.
Your record is a little better than mine; maybe one published every 18 months or so - when I used to subscribe....gave up on 'em about 4 years ago.

Elsewhere in the article, however, it states that at least one document is the original - the one they can't find and Berger can't (won't) produce. The one that is VERY highly classified (and probably states that Clinton fiddled while AQ was lighting the match to start Rome burning) - the one that proves Clinton did NOTHING about terrorism while prez except setup the conditions that led to 9/11.
Even if Clinton orchestrated this theft, Berger and Berger alone will take the fall - the Clintons will walk . . . . . . AGAIN!!

Story is on page A-16 of NY times.
I'm suprised it even made it to page A-16. Did you see the front page today? Stories about people who didn't tuck in their pant tails and the HIV epidemic in Lesotho made it to the Slimes' front page, and not a story about a former National Security Adviser taking classified materials.
The Slimes also inadvertantly left out the part about the documents that had not been returned... just as Berger inadvertantly took them in the first place. What a joke.

I know this is over-simplification, but reduced to its essence, Clinton's National Security Advisor was nailed by librarians.
Trouble is their name.
Scheming is their game.
They accept no blame.
And never feel the shame.
