O'Malley Rumours

Posted on 07/19/2004 1:37:42 PM PDT by xcullen

There are a lot of rumours going around that one of the principal speakers at the Dem Convention is barely holding together some career threatening info. Martin O'Malley, Mayor of Baltimore, is out of the house due to an affair (or many) and reports are there may be a pregnancy. Now I have got this from two separate sources and they are reliable (and not politically hostile to O'Malley). His father-in-law is pretty powerful guy and his wife is a former judge. Anybody hear anything on this?

Couldn't agree more here. The Believe campaign is just not working, and the same goes with O'Malley's failed policies. He will have a tough time running against popular incumbant Governor Bob Ehrlich. Even before that he will face a primary with Montgomery County Executive Doug Duncan. The Republican Party is growing here in Maryland! Trust me...

Post 12.

Duncan has some problems of his own. All the rest of Maryland, not always for the right reasons, despises Montgomery County (traditionally, Montgomery is filled with arrogant, squeaky clean, goody-two-shoes who KNOW what's best for you). And Duncan with his triple jowls and fat derierre could do a reasonable stand in as Ned Beatty in Deliverance II.

Shoot son, he's a 'Rat. All that just proves is that he's one of the people. The buffoons attending the DNC Convention will love him.

Lord, I hope so. I'm tired of getting nails on my tires in Bethesda.

What's wrong with the word "Rumour"? It's a completely acceptable variant of "rumor"... I believe it's English English, rather than American English...

Correct!

Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary:

One entry found for rumour.
Main Entry: ru·mour
Pronunciation: 'rü-m&r
chiefly British variant of RUMOR

For some reason, I've spelled it that way ("rumour") my entire life. I also have grown up spelling "Humour" that way, too...

I draw the line at "Centre", "Metre" and stuff like that though. Too weird ;0)

Great description. It's right on target.

He used to be, but he's been acting like a huge a*hole for the last year or so. Anger over KKT cutting him off from Governor, or stress over his personal fups? Who knows? Both?

Yeah, he sure has the Balmer City school system rockin', right hun? < /sarcasm>

O'Malley is a complete loser. The thought of him as Governor of the dysfuntional State of Maryland sends shivers up and down my spine. Then again, Marylanders might be just stupid enough to elect him.

I did the same for a long time. I grew up in Michigan and had a couple of teachers originally from Canada.

Took a while to grow out of it.

I lived in Baltimore for many years and go back about once a month. It seems to me OMalley is lots better than any recent mayor since Schaeffer. He is handsome and sexy and has a wife with three or four kids, they are a pretty couple. I don't believe the rumors but will check into it. I think he is headed for big things. And with his father in law, I doubt he is a womanizer.

Yes it's true. I work in downtown Baltimore and about a few months ago some top state officials passed it on to us. I have no love for O'Malley, so I passed it on to local talk radio. But they say they are using "kid gloves" with this wretched man.

He tripped, got Sade Baderinwa pregnant and is now divorcing his wife and four children.

Baderinwa used to cover Baltimore

I hope there is a special area of Hell just for Martin O'Malley, for the damage he has done to this city.
