To Whom It May Concern:
I have just read about the position taken by your establishment regarding the recent scheduled performance of Linda Ronstadt at Aladdin in Las Vegas.
I would like to commend the management of the Aladdin for the conviction they demonstrated in exercising their right to censor the ‘performance’ of Ms. Ronstadt and for the professional and straightforward way in which her removal from the premises was conducted.
Performers are contract professionals and if her contract did not explicitly ask/permit her to impose her personal political views on the audience, she should have confined her performance and remarks to activities spelled out in her contract with you. Further and unless management expected or intended Ms. Ronstadt to misrepresent them in her performance, audiences should be spared any imposition upon their expectation of scheduled entertainment.
Your action in this was a-political, totally within the bounds of good management and very much to be commended.
As a taxpayer and a voter, you have my personal thanks for your ‘message’ to entertainers in what is becoming a wholesale, unrestrained and unprincipled assault on the nation at large and on conservative voters as well.

I go to Vegas to escape lifes pressure. I think Alladin knows this and would probably can Toby Keith if he were to inject politics into his routine. Good for Alladin
