I truly feel republicans have serious PR problems. You need to speak plainly and simply to the public. These are the facts,John Kerry voted against many weapons that help protect our nations security,These are the facts how can he defend us.This is a facts plain and simple. Also you must use his senate hearing about Vietnam many people do not know, the public needs to know this is a fact. ANOTHER FACT MANY OF HIS SHIPMATES DO NOT SUPPORT HIM USE THEM THIS IS A FACTS.Republican YOU MUST SPEAK OUT FOR ONCE OR YOU WILL LOSE >Also many of your supporters will not support their republican representatives because of their inability to stand together and speak out for our President. You also lose mark my word. Wise up before it is too late for your party.

1. A picture of John Kerry and his crew of men in Vietnam.
2. Each man disappearing from the picture one by one as they they give a statement about John Kerry.
3. When you are down to the last three men you can say
"This was John Kerry's Crew. They knew John Kerry. These three men are the ones that support John Kerry now. The close of the add would show three men. It would show the
the outlines of those that do not support John Kerry with
the words, "John Kerry, unfit to serve then, unfit to
serve now, asked the men that he served with."

This would do two things. It is a really hard hitting add and would then force the media to start interviewing the men that served under him in Vietnam.

Any Republican Congressman still afraid of their FBI file now in the hands of the Democrats should resign at the next first opportunity to endorse their Republican challenger.

And tell Bush to not sway back and forth while at the podium! It takes him a few inches from the mike, a few words are less understood, then he has to sway back to the mike. The volume comes up, but it may not be where the emphasis on his words is supposed to be. Place both your hands on the podium somehow. Keep them there except for page turning.

Unless you're moving because of back pain...then maybe some different arch supports?

10. "attacking the presidency is not the answer if/when we are attacked by terrorists. We need to work together, as in WWII, an entire nation working together.

BINGO!

The 9/11 Commission report certainly helps here, too.

This refutes a great deal of the anti-Bush diatribe.

I hear too many people saying they voted for Bush in the prior election but will not in this election. They are usually pretty pissed about one issue be it immigration or the war, etc. It is usually just ONE issue. People need to realize by not voting for Bush they ARE voting for Kerry!

I agree that most of the non-radicals who are disappointed have a single issue problem with the President.

Somehow, it must be said effectively that the President asks for your support even if you don't agree with him about every single issue. Maybe by listing about six or seven major issues "ask yourself if you agree with how the President has performed on all of these during the past four years - do you believe Kerry would do better on all of them?" type of query.

Schedule Michael Reagan and Allen Keyes to speak at the GOP convention. Mike Reagan could speak after a video tribute to his dad and conclude his speech with: "Go out and win one more for the Gipper."
Ambassador Keyes can fire-up any crowd and he might sway some black votes.

I agree! I have been hoping to see these two as speakers, too. I would also like to see Ed Koch. Having Ed Koch speaking would take a lot of thunder from the dems who falsely claim that Bush is "devisive".

ROFLOL!!! That is GREAT!!!! Hey war-room monitors... take a look at this!!

AND--- let the Swift-Boat Vets tell their story. *AND* I would like to add... not all vets who qualify for purple hearts accept them. My dad (WWII) and my husband (VN) vets would not accept theirs. BECAUSE of the sacred value of the purple heart. (They felt like the purple heart belonged to the truly wounded. My husband lost most of the hearing in one ear. My dad was shot down behind enemy lines after Berlin raid.) To even suggest tossing a purple heart away, like garbage, is beyond disgraceful. That type person is UNWORTHY of commanding the military.

Remind people of the Carter years.

arrghh. We couldn't have "outside" Christmas lights because it "wasted energy." DARK YEARS. Never forget the dark, dismal Carter years.

"Born in the USA"

Or... pictures of illegals crossing the borders and popping out a baby at the first stop sign they get to. Don't believe it happens? Go look for yourself. Once they have a baby on American soil... they are here. Illegal or not.

Ohhhhhhh. NEVER FORGET!!!!!!!!!!

And, remember what our President said, "Somebody has to pay." He has shown he will go after these thugs. BUT... we MUST secure our borders, do a better job at securing our transportation systems from terrorist threateners, and get over the PC mantra.

We can't be afraid of showing these "reminders." We must have leadership.

John Lenin--- thank you for the reminder. A picture is worth a thousand words...

hehehe ! Thanks. Glad you liked Registered's pic. :^D

Aye !!!

Kerry’s FITREPs are awash in dings, and some of the reports border on the adverse, particularly his combat FITREPs. The FITREPs convey significant performance problems and suggest problems in conduct, so much so that it is surprising that the campaign chose to release them. This may suggest that the FITREPs held from public view are even more adverse.

In what would customarily be an opportunity for a glowing “swan song” FITREP, the Commanding Officer of USS Gridley (DLG-21) tacitly blasts Kerry on his departure for Swift Boat duty by ranking him significantly below the norm in desirability for virtually every Navy assignment possible -– command, staff, whatever. He is a ship handler who is dinged in ship handling. He is in line for command, but his CO doesn’t want him near the bridge. He is slammed in all performance areas –- most notably and significantly in initiative and reliability. The “nice” narrative emphasizes performance in collateral duties, but in the grades and marks, the CO is telling the selection board and detailer loud and clear that this officer is lazy, unreliable and not suited for command. 3 SEP 68 (W.E. HARPER).

Find a way to put someting like this into Bush's speech:

---

"There is some justice in one charge that is frequently leveled against the United States, and more generally against the West: Middle Easterners increasingly complain that the West judges them by different and lower standards than it does Europeans and Americans, both in what is expected of them and in what they may expect, in terms of their economic well-being and their political freedom. They assert that Western spokesmen repeatedly overlook or even defend actions and support rulers that they would not tolerate in their own countries.

The most flagrant violations of civil rights, politcal freedom, even human decency are disregarded or glossed over. And crimes against humanity, which in a European or American country would evoke a storm of outrage, are seen as normal and even acceptable. Regimes that practice such violations are not only tolerated, but even elected to the Human Rights Commission of the United Nations, whose members include Saudi Arabia, Syria, Sudan, and Libya.

The underlying assumption in all this is that these peoples are incapable of running a democratic society and have neither concern nor capacity for human decency.

As many Middle Easterners see it, the Europeans and American governments' basic position is: "We don't care what you do to your own people at home, so long as you are cooperative in meeting our needs and protecting our interests"

Lewis, Bernard. The Crisis of Islam, pp 106-107
