Congressman John Culverson just stated he has just received informantion from Southern District U.S. Attorney Michael Shelby (Texas)that Al Quida members have been entering from our southern border and have been entering through Texas and blending into towns....He stated this was classified and he given the OK to release this information.
The congressman may be a former congress memeber, I didn't hear his complete title. He is on KFI Los Angeles now.

Oh I'm sure it was "classified" - I'm not debating that... I'm just saying we here in Freepland knew this is what they were doing, whether or not we had "official" confirmation of it from any "agency." It doesn't take a rocket scientist to have figured this out... proof of that is that the terrorists are doing it!

how do these prosecuters know this? did they catch some of these guys? Again, I just heard he received information from the Southern District U.S. Attorney Michael Shelby (Texas)that Al Quida members have been entering from our southern border.
I would assume so as he stated in large numbers and some have now been identified.
Trying to work, post and listen to the radio.....
Is anyone really surprised about this??

"AQ needs small teams to accomplish what they want here. you will never be able to have border security tight enough (Mexico or Canada) to stop 20 determined people from getting across. Not that I am disagreeing with you about better border control for illegal immigration, I agree with you. But all I am saying is, you'd have to build an iron curtain across the mexican and canadian border to stop 20 people. You are absolutely right.

(yes. As a matter of fact, my legs are broke.)
To: Joe Hadenuf
no, all I am saying is that there must be some additional piece of information - a capture, and arrest, something that turned this from a guess to a fact.

Lot of truth to this....now hear this, all cops & security folks: if the guy shows you a Mexican ID or claims to be Hispanic: MAKE SURE HE CAN SPEAK SPANISH!

Um, what part if this are you questioning? That it is happening? Or that the Congressman received what he claims is classified info that is ok to release? Or that a US Attorney would release such info?
Surely you aren't questioning that it's happening, right??

We predicted this right after 911, if the borders were not shut down.
It is astonishing how many politicians get elected, sent to Washington, and somewhere on the trip, lose their common sense.
Even before 9-11, common sense would have said that open borders would lead to infiltration by undesirables. Especially after 9-11, common sense cried out for the Washington electees to restrict illegals from entering.

Medved said immigration issues have no relevance to fighting terror. STUPID STUPID STUPID. I usually like Medved, but that was a terribly ignorant thing to say. Immigration issues couldn't be more relevant to fighting terror!

If they won't eat it, it will be a dead giveaway. ;^). I just wonder how come this has not been out in the media??

Then build it - or we can wait for nightclubs, gas stations, shopping malls, and large buildings to start randomly exploding. It's our choice. Personally, I like the first one better.

by now I think AQ has probably recruited some native-born Americans to do its low-level dirty work. You're spot on. They don't need to bring people in, they're already here and have an axe to grind.

Mega dittoes...you listen to speeches of Bush saying that he'll protect the security of America at all costs...then he turns around and pulls crap such as the guest-worker (amnesty) plan. If Bush thinks more Hispanics are going to vote for him because of this he's simply wrong...actually touting border security would cause more Hispanic voters to vote for him because most Hispanics who live here legally in the U.S. despise the illegal aliens.
