Joe, by now you should know that the elites that have overthrown our legitimate government really don't give a damn about our safety.

So what if there are a few more Al Queda terrorist attacks, so long as they can get more cheap labor and more votes from immigrants?

And if and when there is another terrorist attack, they'll simply cry crocodile tears and pass new edicts to infringe upon our Rights. Who knows, after a few more incidents, maybe we'll get troops on the streets, hardened interstate checkpoints, and internal concentration camps. This is the 21st century version of "freedom".

In the meantime, all Americans should make sure that they have the tools to defend their lives and their property from those Islamic scumbags; and to defend their Freedom from a more insidious enemy when The Day comes.

There are some things that won't be broadcast for obvious reasons. I take it you don't live in one of the border states or ever flown a "red eye" out of one of them.

Even before 9/11, it was pretty eye opening to have an empty plane and five minutes before take off, the planes fill up with illegals.

"Is anyone really surprised about this??"

Not especially. Geraldo Rivera did a show on border control allmost two years ago. He interviewed some coyotes who are afraid of the "bad hombres" they're bringing in. 2,500 dollars to bring in a mexican opposed to 25,000 dollars to guide these middle eastern men makes it hard to pass up.

well let's look at the situation. the term "large numbers", what does that mean? let's say its 1000 AQ people. we know how our country is structured, there are so many soft targets: malls, schools, public transportation, etc. what are these 1000 guys going to do? 1000 suicide bombers? 500 2 man sniper teams? they could be conducting those activities right now, with very little difficulty. walking into a mall with a backpack bomb, getting their hands on a hunting rifle and shooting people all over the country, causing accidents on major roadways to crash tanker trucks. We all could think of 100s of ideas.

So my point is - if its that wasy to get into the country, and they have large numbers of people, and there is a whole host of low tech attacks they could launch - what are they waiting for?

I know Islamic material has been found before in the mountains of border garbage; as they shed any evidence of origin and assume "hispanic" identities.

they are already here - in many cases, they were born here or came legally. take any modest percentage of the american muslim community already here, and assign the term "radical" to that percentage. they have more then enough people here to conduct these kinds of attacks right now.

I think it's because too many people have forgotten 9/11.

If you live anywhere in the Southwest, it would be very easy for someone of middle Eastern descent to blend in.

Do they also take intensive conversational Spanish in order to do this?

Not all Hispanics speak Spanish -- they can just use the excuse they were born and raised in the USA.

Fairly classified stuff. All I can say about my source is that it is from a respected LE agency. AQ has figured out that they look Hispanic and with all the PC "don't profile" garbage they're actually LESS likely to be challenged in that disguise.

Smoke 'em out!

I think we should worry about the ones here on visas.

The terrorist visa loophole remains

Nearly three years after the September 11 attacks, the federal government has yet to come up with a system for revoking foreign terrorists' visas and removing them from the United States.

One major problem highlighted at Tuesday's hearing is that, once people enter the United States, the law makes it absurdly difficult to revoke their visa. State Department consular officers and Customs and Border Protection officers have far-reaching discretionary authority to grant or deny visas to non-citizens. But the situation is reversed after a foreign alien gets into the United States — even if the federal government subsequently obtains information that that person is involved in terrorism. Once here, he legally is entitled to fight his deportation in immigration court. And, despite the fact that he is accused of terrorist activity, this alien may be allowed to remain free in this country while fighting the government's effort to deport him. This situation needs to change.

A non-citizen's presence in this country should be treated as a privilege — not a right. If such a person wants to contest his designation as a terrorist, he should be required to do it from outside the country (or inside a detention facility here).

First, and at least, the US consulate has to work with the Mexican authorities to maintain strict vigilance against Middle Easterners trying to change their names in Mexican courts or otherwise. The same holds true for name change attempts in Saudi Arabia and other suspect nations.

Second, in the US, all such attempted name changes should be forwarded immediatly to the Department of Homeland Security, and checked, before any decision can be made. After detainment and questioning, a decision may be reached following deportation.

Third, and greatest, the US must secure all borders, points of entry, frontiers, oceanfronts, and airspace in all the states, and also the US territories. This must happen right away.

"they are already here"

So you're saying we should let 10,000 more just waltz on in because we can't stop 100% of the attacks? That's absurd, and that's dangerous.

no, all I am saying is that there must be some additional piece of information - a capture, and arrest, something that turned this from a guess to a fact.

I am just telling you what a United States Congressman just said on the radio, and KFI-LA just followed it up with their top news story on the break. I can't pull his head through my speaker and demand more info.

Not to pile on, but FreePers assumed long before 9/11 that Mexico would be a logical place for terrorists to enter the U.S.

Don't forget that Mexico wants to take the Southwest back. Just think La Raza. They are not about to help us. Unfortunately, they are more likely to help the terrorists.

The other thing is the Mexicans know we are looking for these terrorists.
The majority of them are Christian.
They don't want sweeps of their own.

My money's on the hotline to the FBI being called every other day with news on new arrivals.
