Congressman John Culverson just stated he has just received informantion from Southern District U.S. Attorney Michael Shelby (Texas)that Al Quida members have been entering from our southern border and have been entering through Texas and blending into towns....He stated this was classified and he given the OK to release this information.
The congressman may be a former congress memeber, I didn't hear his complete title. He is on KFI Los Angeles now.
I would say Congressman Culberson is one of the most reliable conservative voices in the House and for sure in the Texas delegation. He appears on conservative talk radio in Houston (KSEV 700) all the time and gives exact, specific answers. He has been trying to get Congress to cut the budget of all the departments that are not doing their job on the border.
Only once or twice have I heard him give incorrect answers and he always corrects himself the next time he is on the air. If he said it, he believes it and if he said he was told, then he was.
Xena, Eaker, Flyer, humble and DG may want to add their opinion.
Oooooooh! I am sooo wanting to use that for my non-existent tag line :)
That's a classic!
It's the truth. In fact, in 2002 alone, about 8,000 of the illegals arrested coming across the souther border were special interest aliens" .......meaning illegals from nations with known ties to terror (Libya, Pakistan, Iran, Syria, etc). And those were just the ones caught. Considering the ratio of the ones that successfully make it across to the ones that don't (around 10 - 1 ....a conservative estimate) , that comes out to around a quarter million illegal Islamists that have made it across the border since 9/11.
THANK YOU !!......This is the second thread lately that Dane has littered up with his (off topic) rants about 'Baca'........Why doesen't Dane put up his own thread about 'Baca' & rant to those replies ??
btw..... Is Joehadenuf now required to respond to *all* the 'John& Ken' show topics, or only those that Dane wants him to ???
Keep an eye on those fastfood restaurants that either don't serve pork...or serve very little.
Post of the day, NRT.
Missing in this sentence that "describes" the sequence of events is the word, "unclassified".
Dane, why hasn't Joe answered your question? Why does Joe ignore you?
My gut tells me you have nailed Joe dead to right!!! I have followed this entire thread and Joe has answered everyone but you, he's got a reply for everyone but you.
He's even asked the moderator to intervene to make you go away.
C'mon Joe, come clean and answer Dane.
Joe Baca is not "off topic".
Thanks for that.
We were listening to him live, and he sounded *very* credible.
We have moved smooth through the looking glass. In a sane world, citizens would be encouraged to police the damned borders. In our world, we get to sit with our hands tied while the bad guys get settled into comfy chairs and sight us in.
Please, lets not make me the issue here. Thanks.
(come quick, it's another one of those black helicopter tinfoil hat people rantin' away on FR, yuck yuck yuck)
You bet, and after hearing the man from Texas, I am *really* starting to wonder about some of our representitives and leaders
Why do you think that Bush is surprised by this? The person who is the primary source of this story is a Bush appointee.
Frighting story. Its probably a good idea to stock up on the essentials. I can only imagine the havoc if a refinery is blown up.
"Please, lets not make me the issue here. Thanks."
You are not the issue, your inability to answer Dane is!!
Any comment on the story at hand here?
Imagine youre Osama bin Laden or one of his immediate minions and you want to get people into the United States. As a matter of fact, you want them in the United States totally undetected. You dont want even a fake name to show up on record, no fingerprints, retinal scans, nada.
Here is one very probable scenario that several of us have kicked around off line.
Start by recruiting in Morocco. Plenty of good Spanish speaking Muslims available. Dont worry about accent or vocabulary; it really isnt very important. Concentrate on the ones who also speak fair English. Train them in the basics of the terror trade right there in Morocco. At the conclusion of training, put them on an airplane to Sao Paolo, Brazil, with just enough fake ID for this portion of the trip. (Meanwhile, arrange for good quality fake ID at their final destination.)
Thats right, all the way down in southern Brazil. From Sao Paolo they go to the Three Corners, the point where Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay meet. You may have never heard of the place, but its a big time sanctuary for drug smugglers and terrorists. While there, make arrangements with the smuggling cartels for anonymous and officially unnoticed entry into southern Mexico preferably into Chiapas or Oaxaca.
Keep your team of thugs in Oaxaca or Chiapas for about two months. Their only job is to pick up enough of the local indio language to pass the majority of the natives in the area can barely speak any Spanish. Just learn enough to pass as an itinerant bean farmer on the extremely slight chance that they get picked up by the US Border Patrol. All they have to do is play dumb, use as few words of Spanish as possible, and make the rest canned phrases in whatever language they picked up. If they follow this method, even if caught they will probably be voluntarily deported back to Mexico at which time they just try again. (Considering what theyre paying the smugglers, the chances of getting caught are minute; this is just insurance.)
Once in the good old US of A, they disperse to their assigned locations, pick up their new identities and wait for the opportune moment. They dont have to bring weaponry, explosives, nukes, germs, etc. Most of what they might need is already here and easily obtainable. Anything else can and will be brought in by the drug cartels in separate shipments.
You are not the issue, your inability to answer Dane is!!
It takes longer to read a thread like this when some people try to change the subject. Stick to the subject at hand, please.
If not, start your own threads.
