".....was part of its U.N.-mandated task of watching over Iraq's oil revenues." No mention by the pukes at Reuters - that the U.N. has been charged with participation in one of the greatest thefts and human tragedies of all time in te "Oil for Food" scandal.. A scandal that enriched the "diplomats" at the U.N. and permitted a despot to set up the scenario for war......
Once found guilty ---- I wonder what the punishment for Coffee Anus, henchmen and son will be???
Death would be too merciful.

Are these folks trying to tell me that W and Cheney and his big oil buddies aren't stealing all that Iraqi oil money? This will not look good on Michael Moore's resume...lol!

No mention - that the U.N. has been charged with participation in one of the greatest thefts and human tragedies of all time in the "Oil for Food" scandal. On that same line, isn't amazing how fast they were able to gear up and complete an investigation into US, but have scarce made any headway in the Oil for Food investigation???

Board representatives said it was a high priority for international organizations to ensure that Iraqi ministries had proper accounting procedures in place to allow for future audits.Iraq should tell the IAMB that, effective 6/29, their services are no longer needed. What gives THEM the right to perform "future audits"?

Hey UN.....let's wait until the investigation is complete.
Your audit means nothing.

An international audit released on Thursday showed no evidence of fraud... Yeah, right. And the audit board members who are suddenly buying new houses, new cars, and eating in 5-star restaurants every night is just a mirage, too.
To: TexKat
This can't really be a Reuter's story.
A Reuter's story would have grabbed the info in the second graf, and the lead would be:
"Americans might have stolen billions of Iraqii oil revenues due to lax accounting say auditors".
So, either it's somebody posing as a Reuter's writer, or somebody slipped a little truth serum in his morning mocha.
To: TexKat
The audit was requested by the International Advisory and Monitoring Board (IAMB), which includes the United Nations, the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, I'm cracking up. This is incredible.

The U.N. investigating the U.N. --- like leaving the foxes in charge of the hen house.

WE WANT REAL INVESTIGATION --- NOW. No more phony investigations into the Bush Administration until the Senate investigates the U.N. Oil for Food scandal.

This story is not about Oil for Food - its about what has happened since the invasion last year.
