July 15, 2004 -- ASHWAUBENON, Wis. Comic Dennis Miller warmed up a crowd for President Bush last night by ripping into Democrat John Kerry as a flipflopper who needs a navigation system implanted in his forehead to know where he's going. It was a rare showbiz touch for Bush, who's seeking to bill Kerry as the personification of liberal Hollywood values and Miller also evoked the memory of Whoopi Goldberg's X-rated anti-Bush rant last week."I couldn't let Whoopi Goldberg have all the fun," the comic told the crowd, adding that in deference to the president, he'd "try not to fall to the depths that some would" and said Kerry is "a good man."

Bah, they don't even give any good zingers!
I demand that they release the Miller tapes!
Dennis Miller is a riot. I'm so glad he came over from the dark side to our side. He says 9/11 was his wake up call. I'm glad to see him do a a little campaigning for our President.
I'll bet that the RNC wouldn't have a problem with releasing a tape, though.
Our side doesn't run on hatred and rage like their's does. Besides, I doubt anything Miller says cannot be refuted as untrue.
In fact, I'll even go a step further to say that this might be a strategic plan to coax the left to start a, "WE WANT THE TAPE!!!" chant. Then we release it, dare THEM to release their's, and they're gonna just sit there and say, "Ummm, uhh, well, errm....."
It's not to difficult to make these losers look like the losers they are; they practically GIVE us the rope.
My favorite Afghani war story is the Al Qaeda fighter who is crushed to death by the descending humanitarian food pallet. Everybody sitting around in the next life at the Psychotic Algonquin Roundtable swapping tales. What happened to you, Khalid? I saw a shadow, looked up, Del Monte cling peaches coming right at my head. I didn't even have the Kevlar turban on that day.
LOL
A couple of my favorite Millerisms:
"I would call the French scum bags, but that, of course, would be a disservice to bags filled with scum."
Denouncing anti-war protesters, Miller describes those who call everyone but Hussein a Hitler:
"The type you have at these parades seems to be the people who want to mislabel Hitler. Everybody in the world is Hitler. Bush is Hitler, Ashcroft is Hitler, Rumsfeld is Hitler. The only guy who isn't Hitler is the foreign guy with a mustache dropping people who disagree with him into the wood chipper. He's not Hitler."
The navigational system implant for sKerry's forehead made me laugh.
<< "I would call the French scum bags, but that, of course, would be a disservice to bags filled with scum." >>
Bit of a twisted scenario you've got going on there, Dennis: Scumbags aren't necessarily filled with scum but when they are it is usually because they have served their purpose -- which is to prevent bags from being filled with scum.
Get it?
Litterbug. The Earth Firsters would stomp him on the spot for that transgression.
I enjoy his CNBC TV show.
Dennis Miller comes across as thoughtful and brainy. The dims come across as morons.
Hint to Bush Campaign Team: 9/11 was a wakeup call, don't listen to the RATS, make 9/11 and the PICTURES a part of the campaign.
I was so disappointed that I had to miss it, but it was a sell out. The pictures of the crowds were unbelievable. I can't wait to hear the estimates.
dennis miller rants nightly on cnbc at 9 pm est. he is sharp and witty, one of the funniest minds i' ve ever heard rattle a verbal sabre. i was hoping he would address the convention.
I don't know. First off, since we really don't know what was said, it could be tamer than we've been led to believe. You know how Hollywood and spinmeisters are, talking something up to create a 'buzz' for their clients.
Next, who says they won't edit theirs to make it less nasty? My suspicion is that they are doing exactly that right now. They'll leave in a lot, but they'll cut more extreme things here and there, release it with some fanfare (just before the election perhaps?) and say "Heck, this isn't even as bad as you see at a Comedy Club. Poor Whoopie."
Let them keep it under wraps. It works in our favor (IMO).
Releasing the DNC tape will be the new buzz for the next week or two. This is going to get legs.
Dennis is stumping for Bush? Damn! I'm gonna have to watch his show. Love him, but he's up against FOX and it takes so much effort to change the channel....
I would marry Dennis if he was single. Smart and funny is a big turn on.
