I could be wrong, but from the local news broadcast last night, Dennis Miller was not scheduled to be at the rally last night, but he was scheduled to be at a local venue. When he heard that President Bush would be in town at the same time, he called and offered his services to warm up the crowd while they waited. Wayne Newton was also there, and they had a performance video by Toby Keith.

I was so disappointed that I had to miss it, but it was a sell out. The pictures of the crowds were unbelievable. I can't wait to hear the estimates.

I think there were far more than 8000. The place was packed to the rafters and the floor was filled.

Miller and Newton were both performing at the nearby Oneida Casino, so that's why they were in town. Miller was amazing. I think Newton or my ears were having a little trouble with the acoustics in there.
