As I was driving home a bit ago from Wednesday night church, I turned on Savage. He was on a rant about ridding ourselves of the RINO Republicans who had back-stabbed social conservatives on the Federal Marriage Amendment.
The names are: McCain (AZ), Snowe (ME), Chaffee (RI), Campbell (CO), Sununu (NH), Collins (ME)
It is very clear that McCain and Campbell stabbed conservatives in the back. They are under no pressure in their states to be "more liberal." They simply chose to side with gays over their own party.
The answer is as Michael Savage says. We must get rid of them. What real benefit has John McCain been to the Republican conservatives? He authored anti-first amendment Finance Reform. He votes for the sodomizing of America and, therefore, against families. He attacks the success of the military in Iraq. Can someone tell me what he's good for?
Bu...bu...but....we need their votes. Only temporarily.
Their states, except for Colorado and Arizona, are Al Gore democrat states. We can't win in those states with real conservatives. So why waste money doing so. Why not put that money into Thune's race in S. Dakota, a state that should have 2 conservative senators. The same with Colorado. It should have 2 conservative senators.
What states should, but don't, have 2 conservative senators? Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, West Virginia.
Stop wasting conservative money on Maine, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire.
I now know who Bill Frist meant when he hinted in the spring that he would have tried the nuclear option on judicial appointments, but he knew some of the Republicans would vote against him.

That's because Smith left the GOP and when he came back he bargained to get a Committee Chairmanship and knocked Sen Inhofe off the seat? Bush sure did support Sununu -- didn't do any good but Smith deserved what he got IMHO!
Then he goes to FL and tries to run for Senator there. Some of the nasty things he had to say while not a Republican came back to haunt him!
I am all for getting John McCainiac out of the Senate.
Yes, because Smith would have lost to Shaheen in the general, and as much as I disapprove of Sununu's vote on this issue, I'd rather have him than Shaheen in the Senate any day of the week. To be honest, his vote on this surprised me.
Campbell's retiring, so it's a moot point.
Concentrate on winning a super-majority in the Senate via the Bush states....flyover country.
He must not have been feeling much pressure to vote yes.
The point is to win the seat for a conservative, so it isn't a moot point.
You want all the flyover country Senate seats to be conservatives. There's no reason they can't be won.
You're blowing smoke up the yin-yang. "A Republican at any cost!!!"....You want to do something? $top $upporting the tyrants. The waste of money both sides take from from US is an abomination our forefathers would NEVER have put with. As long as the cash flows, nothing will change.

Campbell's retiring. Hopefully, he'll be replaced by Bob Schaffer, who is in favor of the Marriage Amendment.
But the media here are putting Schaffer down and pushing Coors and Salazar really hard.
Sununu is a great Senator. In his first year in the senate 95% rating from ACU. He was the only Republican senator (a freshman, no less)to have the balls to vote against the wasteful, liberal, govt. entitlement, medicare prescription drug bill. He is the anti-rino. Instead of being criticized he should be vetted for a run in '08.

It's not the RINO votes that surprise me but the southern dems in Louisiana and Arkansas. They have to know they're not representing their constituents with their votes today. Should make them highly vulnerable next election.
I wish I could, but I barely think we're going to break even this time, maybe pick up 1 or 2. Illinois is once again back to being a sure loss and Colorado & Alaska are on the edge of leaning Democrat. We should be able to pick off 4 southern seats (LA stays Dem due to their habit of bringing out their dead), giving us no less than a net gain of 1. Unfortunately, still well short of a super-majority, and just a few short of a RINO-proof majority.

For nearly 70 years this has beena divided nation of about 35 percent liberals, 35 percent conservatives and the remaining 30 percent split between Rinos and Dinos.
If the Republicans were stupid enough to drive all the RINOs out of the party, then they would just become DINOs. And the senate would be 65 Democrats and 35 Republicans and we would always elect Liberal presidents.
There are about 16 conservative states and 16 liberal states. And there are about 18 states that are up for grabs.
Those states nearly always elect some Combination of RINOs and DINOs to the senate. It is no accident in my home state fo Ohio that we have two RINO Senators and a RINO governor.
The other option is 2 DINO Senators and a DINO Governor. NO real conservative or real liberal can carry Ohio.
If the Republicans kept the 35 conservative senators they now have, and grew until they had 25 RINOs in the Senate, the conservatives could rule the Senate with an Iron hand. They would have 60 votes. That would prevent filibusters.
Yes I hear you.. there will always be 3 or 4 RINOS that go off the reservation. But the Right could pick up a 3 or 4 DINOs to replace the wavering RINOs on major votes.
Fools like Savage always want a pure party that achieves success. That can't happen as long as the conservatives only represent 35 percent of the voters.
Savage is so stupid he things 35 percent of the voters can produce 51 percent of the votes. Savage obviously flunked math.
The key to changing the nation is to grow the 35 percent conservative to over 50 percent conservative. If that were to happen, then no RINOs or DINOs would get elected. We ould have 51 or 52 conservative senators.
Good post and good point by Mike. We are in the very early stages of a monumental change in this nation and the world. FReepers, the most informed citizens on the planet, are at the forefront of that change. Identification of your domestic enemies is the first step. Thankfully, we can still vote them out of office and as information goes forward, they will be voted out. Thanks for the post, names and information.
