this is a good web site.

I am as conservative as they come. On several issues (spending, campaign finance) I have been intensely angry with this President.

That said, after perusing this web site I note that the problem with adancing our conservative agenda is not the President. It's the Senate. He needs more help. He needs help on judges and obviously on the marriage amendment.

He is not even primarily let alone solely responsible for spending. Nor did the campaign finance bill originate with him.

This man is a good, basically conservative and capable leader who we MUST re-elect. But to be truly effective, we must give him some help!

Fellow conservatives who are disgruntled with GWB, take note!

Very good comments.

Here in Oklahoma, it looks like Dr. Tom Coburn is going to win the primary without a runoff if the numbers hold I saw tonight. He is way ahead in Tulsa and even with Humphreys in N. OKC and Edmond. That means he should win going away. He will clobber Brad Carson the liberal (moderate to himself) RAT. That will mean Oklahoma will be sending a rock-ribbed Conservative in Dr. Tom Coburn to the United States Senate to replace Sen Don Nickles. We are doing our part to help here in OK as the RATs figured this would be a tight race. Bet they pull their money from Carson if Dr. Tom is our candidate! :)

He needs help on judges ... "

How right you are on all points. The Senate is especially important because without getting more conservative members of that body, we won't get conservative judges ... and they will affect what happens in our country for decades ... long after many of the Congresscritters and Senators are retired from public life. We know that liberal judges will legislate from the bench rather than interpret the law. We MUST work to get more conservative judges ... and that happens by getting more Republicans in the Senate ... more Republicans who will support the President's agenda.
