Hey..Giz here...Today's a re-run day. Had a great thread lined up for today....but FredtheCat and I got carried away with all the ice cream from Billie's thread and took a too long nap. Plus....never saw I re-run we didn't like. ENJOY!

How Many Dogs Does It Take to Change A Light Bulb?

Golden Retriever: The sun is shining, the day is young, we've got our whole lives ahead of us, and you're inside worrying about a stupid burned out bulb?

Border Collie: Just one. And then I'll replace any wiring that's not up to code.

Dachshund: You know I can't reach that stupid lamp!

Rottweiler: Make me.

Boxer: Who cares? I can still play with my squeaky toys in the dark.

Lab: Oh, me, me!!!!! Pleeeeeeeeeze let me change the light bulb! Can I? Can I? Huh? Huh? Huh? Can I? Pleeeeeeeeeze, please, please!

German Shepherd: I'll change it as soon as I've led these people from the dark, check to make sure I haven't missed any, and make just one more perimeter patrol to see that no one has tried to take advantage of the situation.

Jack Russell Terrier: I'll just pop it in while I'm bouncing off the walls and furniture.

Old English Sheep Dog: Light bulb? I'm sorry, but I don't see a light bulb?

Cocker Spaniel: Why change it? I can still pee on the carpet in the dark.


Chihuahua: Yo quiero Taco Bulb.

Pointer: I see it, there it is, there it is, right there ..

Greyhound: It isn't moving. Who cares?

Australian Shepherd: First, I'll put all the light bulbs in a little circle ...

Poodle: I'll just blow in the Border Collie's ear and he'll do it. By the time he finishes rewiring the house, my nails will be dry.

The Cat Answer???...... Dogs do not change light bulbs. People change light bulbs. So,the real question is: How long will it be before I can expect some light, some dinner, and a massage?????

I think Ink is in love with the border collie.

Mr. D.'s childhood dog was a border collie mix...(named "dutchess...surprise surprise) To this day he wants another one but they sound a little to high maintenance for me. Cyber cheese on its way to Ink.

My dog story is short.

When I was growing up we had a mixed breed dog named Topsey, She's now romping at Rainbow Bridge withy lonestar,.

Anyway, Topsey had an amising habit of setting on her haunches to look out the front screen door whule waiting for us to get home.

She would "stand" with her front paws down like a gopher, Everyone was amused by this and wondered if hse weren't part gopher! CUTE!

One day my brother and sisters and I decioded that we would see what she would do if we put socks on her feet.

Well, we put one sock on at first and saw Topsey would'nt use the foot the sock was on so we put a sock on another paw, so now she was walking on two paws.

My brother put socks on the other two paws and Topsey went bananas!

Everyone laughed, even my parents.

That's my dog story.

You just have no idea! My Shep mix will be 13 in August so she's settled down quite a bit. She never EVER considered herself a dog. She still thinks she's a person. She thinks *I'm* her protector not the other way around.

Our Aussie is three legged (a long story, sad, but it's ended well) and she is our clown. And to top it off, she's tiger striped just like a gray tabby cat.

I will share some stories later (WVNan's story just about has everyone beat, hands down! I laughed right out loud).
Now I've got to fix lunch for hubby and me then...nap time.
