I am afraid it is going to work.

Me too. Even with this instance of Newt clearly showing the baselessness of the Kerry campaign, I'm afraid the average voter will miss that and view it as Newt being mean-spirited and hateful. Too many people are swayed by everything but truth and cannot recognize a substantive argument.

It's my opinion that Hapless Holbrook has been tapped by Kerry for his Secretary of State

You are not alone.

See my post #38 on this thread:

Israel Follows Its Own Law, Not Bigoted Hague Court Decision (Alan Dershowitz Nails It!)

"Katie is just an old has been fool."

Yup. I could keep an entire Somoli village from starving with what she spends on cosmetics and niptucks. Can't wait for the day she's told her looks are too old and haggard for center stage. No woman is more deserving.

Maybe if she was a journalist she'd have something to fall back on...

HA! Korea prefers Maddy as she is one of only two people in the world shorter than Kim.

(Bob Reich being the other, of course).

Nice summary. I'm going to copy it and give it to my liberal friends. Perhaps they'll be persuaded to come over from the dark side.

I did notice that Katie got a little dig in with Newt. She called him an analyst for FoxNews. No mention of being former Speaker of the House, etc. Just a little thing I noticed

FoxNews just showed a clip of Edwards tossing a football to the o so athletic wonder of the ages John Kerry, and Kerry missed the catch.

I saw that and, the Breck Girl missed the return throw. Two spaz's throwing a football around for a photo op and missing the catches is a real good idea. Just regular guys those two are, huh?.

Well, come on-- wouldn't you be frightened by Madeleine in a set of fishnets?

Talk about a WMD.

Holbrooke, (General Wesley Clarke was his aide on the Dayton Accord), Jamie Rubin, (married to Christiane Amanpour, and Madeleine Albright's right hand boy in State Department), AND Joe Wilson, all serve as Kerry's foreign advisors. I'm sure there are others....but even with this "oh what a tangled web", you get the idea how incestuous the Democrats are.

And in the back of my mind at all times these days, Joe Wilson's wife is still at the CIA. She was in on Joe's lie, and she has to be just as chummy with Joe's cohorts on the Kerry campaign.

But wait! What do all these characters have in common? Allegience to the Clintons above all else.

Holbrooke: "I wish it was. Getting rid of Saddam has been carried out in such an incompetent way that Iraq has become ground zero for terrorism."

Talk about shooting fish in a barrel! Incompetent. Riiight! Never mind the fact that EVERY war college in EVERY nation is (as we speak) studying this campaign.

It;s going to be a long 4 months.

Yes, but just think of the fun we get to have at the end. I've already warned people I know on the left that I plan on being completely insufferably smug for (at least) 2 weeks after the election.

I saw that. Couric even seemed to think that Kerry's positin (or at least they way this guy defended it seemed weak). You can argue domestic policy, social issues, etc. But Newt cleaned this guy's clock.

The man is morally challenged in some respects, and may be a tad eccentric, but damn if he isn't (a) brilliant and (b) about the best damn public speaker you'll ever encounter.

Gingrich running for President would have been quite a ride indeed.

For what it's worth
I work with a bunch of nonpolitical people, right after Kerrey won Iowa one guy came up and asked me "When are the (expletive) democracts going to (expletive) nominate someone I can (expletive) vote for? This Kerrey guy is a (expletive) moron!"

Why doesn't anyone counter this with that was the intent all along?!!?

I don't know if Newt said it today, (Rush has been playing clips from this show but is at commercial), but President Bush has been making that very point in his speeches.
