In the Marxist wordview, which these sorts adhere to, ALL property belongs to "the State", a term which they oh-so-cleverly never really get around to defining, although you can be prosecuted, incarcerated, indeed, even executed for comitting crimes against, or being an enemy of. They don't dare tell you that their mythical "State" consists of nothing more than an updated version of Midieval robber barons, and that their "new order" is nothing more than "might makes right", all over again...

To say that they got it backwards would be to understate.

Let us hope that NYC "crowd controllers" are a step ahead this year. I think there have been great advances in protection strategy in the past 10 years.
I feel like I should go to New York with my sling shot tofight for our side. LOL! I know it's going to be a mess, but do they see how petulant and childish they make themselves look?
What a bunch of losers!
Shouldn't "Jimmy from Brooklyn" be on the case?
Small video cameras can be hidden in your clothing?
If they go as far as their rhetoric indicates, I believe that one will be able to make a case for imposing NATO Rule 7.62 on them.

Even if the police catch them and put them in jail, the lawyers will give them a "get out of jail free" card.
The protestors (nearby Waco near Dubya ranch) were all set free recently.
This could be an important link to the Kerry campaign. We should play up the ties between MoveOn/the Lawyers Guild/ the Kerry campaign and maybe Michael Moore. Oh, I forgot the Communist Party.

this might help start your quest for knowledge...I try to look at it, but I get so caught up reading, that I don't try out these little tricks... :)
If he had known FR's l/Libertarians,he would have quickly changed his mind. LOL
Great post!
...dedicated to the proposition that human rights are more important than property rights.
What does this even mean? Aren't property rights human rights? It's giving me a headache, the tortured logic involved in thinking this way!
Can't we just put them all on a raft and point them toward Cuba? They can get plenty of what Castro calls human rights there with out the inconvienence of property rights. Or even human rights. See? It loops back on itself!

I agree. Exposure of their connections before the event might help LEO and enough publicity may diminish their activity. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that MM is 'set up' to do a film about this. His activities in the area would bear watching. (It would also not surprise me if, since their plans have been publicized, they staged a little something at the dem convention.)
I don't know how many of these links still work....they seem to disappear as they get attention. They are all connected.

About Arissa - Excerpts: The primary goal of Arissa is to create a political and social revolution in the United States of America. We believe that none of the single-issue problems - whether in the human, environmental, or animal categories - can be resolved until a political structure is put into place to allow for an atmosphere of change. Arissa will have reached its goal when that revolution occurs.
Our Arissa Media Services Department was formed in late 2003 to provide necessary media relations for those conducting revolutionary actions in the United States.

Presumptious to assume that that angle had not occurred to me. The nets control most of what a significant % of the American public sees, witness Iraq coverage. If they choose to do so they can make the NYPD and any other crowd control unit (NG) look like the proto-typical jack-booted thugs. And they can do it with Bush/Cheney posters in the background while invoking the "constitution trashing" elements of the "Bush" Patriot Act. I'm not so naive as to believe that the NY based liberal press would not do this.
In support of this theory...an earlier post on this same thread had a freeper with one foot already out of the country because of how he perceived NYPD outside his hotel when he visited a while ago. He saw it as a step toward a police state, and he's on our side.
Good one. :-)
The War Called Peace: The Soviet Peace Offensive:
Lawyers Committee on Nuclear Policy (LCNP)-777 U.N. Plaza, Fifth Floor, New York, N.Y. 10017 [212/ 887-8962], appeared late in 1981 circulating a "Statement on the Illegality of Nuclear Weapons" which has no condemnation or even mention of Soviet nuclear weapons and targeting policy, but which is aimed specifically at the United States. LCNP's positions closely parallel those of the Soviet "peace" fronts. LCNP's officers and initial members of its consultative council include a number of activists from the National Lawyers Guild (NLG), the U.S. section of the Soviet-controlled International Association of Democratic Lawyers (IADL). . .Secretary and executive director is Elliott L. Meyrolwitz and LCNP's treasurer is Robert L. Boehm, CCR's chairperson. The consultative council is listed as including Richard Barnet, IPS and formerly active with the Lawyers Committee on U.S. Policy toward Vietnam (LCUSPV) which was founded by activists with the IADL, NLG, and National Emergency Civil Liberties Committee (NECLC), a CPUSA legal action and propaganda front; Ian Brownlie, Oxford University; Francis A. Boyle, University of Illinois; Anthony A. D'Amato, Northwestern University; Robert F. Drinan, Georgetown University and 1968 NLG national vice president. . .
Ping to 177.
If Kerry ever met anyone in the 1970s he considered too far to the left, he didn't mention it to anyone.
Fedora, thanks for the great info and please ping me when your article is available.
